Shocked by how bad the shrimp and grits were. It didn’t look or taste appetizing at all. The grits had no seasoning or cheese, were clumpy and tasted like cream of wheat. They only gave me 5 shrimps out of the 6 advertised and they were tiny, overcooked, dry and didn’t taste fresh at all. They also failed to de-vein or clean the inside of the shrimps. You can clearly see the black “string”. Yuck. Such a disappointment. I do not recommend this place at all.
Great food hear travel all the way from Houston to try this dish the my don’t have any short ribs but the did have ox tails that was great.

Come for the food. You can dine outside but no need. Sit in the comfort of your home and throw down. They have old school southern food like ham hocks and pigs feet. You can get small or large plates. They pack the food in pretty well. Cornbread is soft and moist and included for free. You have to pay like 50 for salt pepper of extra butter. The food was seasoned perfectly. So nothing else was needed. Must try if in Brooklyn.

Pretty wide selection of food. I ordered catfish, greens, mac-n-cheese, etc. I found it to be a bit on the pricey side given the portions. I thought the food was overall good. The wait for the catfish was about 15 minutes and I thought they forgot me, maybe should have ordered ahead. Parking on the weekend wasn't too bad.
