Located in Tel Aviv-Yafo; Restaurant design is uniquely based on the five elements of traditional Chinese philosophy; Known for using locally sourced ingredients.
The food is very good for the most part, but most dishes come with coriander, so if you don't like it, it drastically limits your options. The prices are expensive, which we knew going in, but the portion size is minute, even at those prices, so you need multiple dishes to satisfy you. The desserts were very good, and very unique, and came in a decent size for sharing.
Taizu remains at the pinnacle of the Israeli culinary scene.

We visited as a group of four for a Friday lunch in January 2026, and the experience was flawless from start to finish.

The restaurant’s architecture is striking, offering a sophisticated atmosphere that is perfectly complemented by the energy of the large, open-window kitchen. Watching the precision in the kitchen adds a layer of theater to the meal.
==
The Highlights:
==
The Food: We explored a variety of Asian-inspired dishes, including five distinct appetizers that set a high bar for the meal. The raw fish dish was exceptionally fresh and well-balanced, and the sea shells (mollusks) were a standout in terms of flavor and preparation.
==
The Vibe: Elegant yet welcoming architecture.
==
The Service: Truly outstanding. The staff was attentive and professional, ensuring a seamless dining experience.

If you are looking for one of the best dining experiences in Israel, Taizu is a must.

Highly recommended.
This place has been consistently amazing in every dish for years, the best restaurant in Israel. Everything is special and with so much flavor, great cocktails and a very experienced staff. I wish I could replicate this restaurant to every city in the world.
Some of the dishes were tasty, some of them (such as the lavrak fish, NIS185) were disappointing, all of them were terribly expensive. The waiter suggested to order a selection of small dishes for us at a price up to NIS450 per guest (excluding beverages and deserts) ... Which we declined. The dishes are exceptionally small. We paid NIS650 for two (no beverages) and I left the restaurant feeling I hardly ate anything. I guess you might better enjoy the restaurant if somebody else pays the bill or you have an unlimited expense account.
Great atmosphere, delicious food, friendly and attentive service.
I’ve been coming here every few years when visiting Israel, and it’s consistently an excellent experience.
Perfect spot for couples or small groups (3–8 people). Our visits usually come out to about 250-350 ₪ per person.
