Great Thai fusion food, small plates, open kitchen.
First thing we tired, the beef with dill and coriander was cooked brilliantly, with a refreshing sauce too.
The Gaiyang chicken with smoked chilli I highly recommend it, super juicy and tender.
We also had rump that was cooked exactly to our liking, they’re really good at this.
The clay pot glass noodle is a must order, every table had one, it’s flavourful though I can’t really taste the tamworth belly or crab meat in it.
Finally the jungle curry with smoked kippers are lovely too.
They don’t have a lot of seatings and this place is quite crowded especially at dinner times. I do like that the menu often changes so we can try new things.
One small complaint would be we got seated right by the door, and their corridor isn’t the widest, they don’t have the most comfortable seats either, mostly bar tables and it gets slightly chilly everytime people come in and out. It’s a cosy vibe but the music is quite loud so conversation is slightly harder. The seats right in front of the open kitchen do look cool though. Nonetheless lovely attentive service.
Good Asian fusion food! Rather noisy and busy atmosphere but adds to its charm. The grilled chicken was very flavourful! While the fried cod collar was very tasty, it was just the slightest bit salty. The claypot glass noodles is a favourite amongst my friends. It was interesting eating Asian food with a knife and fork!

Great atmosphere, love the vibe, staff were great.
It did however feel ridiculous to queue so long, then be served such disappointing food. The fish didn't have much meat, the soup was ridiculously hot and had 3 mussels in. The saving grace was the crab meat noodles in the claypot. The steak was unremarkable.
Staff here work hard, guy at the grill has a hell of a job.

I visited Kiln yesterday around 4pm and got lucky with no queue — usually there’s a long line outside during dinner time. The atmosphere was lively and it was great watching the chefs cook over charcoal in the open kitchen.
The highlight was the Gai Yang with smoked chilli. The chicken was juicy, smoky and full of flavour. The glass noodle pot was also excellent and very comforting.
Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout the visit. Prices are reasonable for Soho — not super cheap, but fair for the quality and experience. Overall, a very enjoyable meal and definitely worth trying if you’re nearby.

We walked in to put name on the line and the wait is about 30 mins. I’m Thai and the fact that they locally sourced their ingredient made the taste even better. My husband doesn’t like seafood so we mostly got beef and lamb. Our fav is Nam tok and Hang le.
