We stopped in for some pies before kicking off our day. They didn’t disappoint- they were creamy perfection. We got the chicken and mushroom, steak, and Mac and cheese.
Highly recommend for a quick grab and go meal at such a reasonable price. And the staff was so lovely 😊

This is a pie shop on South Bridge that is offers up around 30 traditional, veg-friendly and other pies, pasties and other takeaway foods at reasonable prices.
We recently stopped by and picked up Haggis pie and traditional pasty, which we quite enjoyed back at our accommodation. Service was friendly and quick, pies were very reasonably priced for portion size. Importantly, they tasted really good. Would gladly pick up pies from here if we lived in the area based on this experience.

This is the best meal I've had in Edinburgh. I was out with my date on a Friday night. Lots of loud people in the streets, and this place was a nice escape. It's a small shop, but there is plenty of window seating. We both got the Big Pepper Steak. I got a traditional pasty, and she got a Millionaire Shortbread. The Big Pepper Steaks were great for something so simple. Flaky crust and thinly sliced steak inside. I would have ordered it again, but it was the last two they had. I'll probably go back tomorrow morning.

If you want to try a Scottish pie in Edinburgh, this is one of the most popular places where you can get served pretty quickly. The pies are served hot, which makes them even better. We tried two kinds: the steak meat one and the Classic pie. The classic scotch pie has beef inside. The pastry is crispy and buttery, and since the filling is quite rich too, it ends up being a pretty heavy and filling bite. The minced meat one felt a little lighter in comparison. The pastry is more or less the same, so the choice really comes down to your personal taste. I’d say it’s definitely worth trying at least once.

The PieMaker is a great place to grab a delicious pie. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and gave excellent recommendations. They suggested the Mushroom Pie, and it was absolutely delicious—rich, creamy, and full of flavour with perfectly flaky pastry. Great service, tasty food, and excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
