Omg. Our first time eating here. Was ahhhh-mazing!!! The ambiance, the food and our server Jake made for a delightful and outrageously delicious night of dining out. Every dish we tried just exploded with different flavors in our mouths. We had the disco fries as appetizers and the goat empanadas which were such great starters. Then the sticky glazed pork as a main dish was so delectable. For dessert, Jake recommended the pandan flan. Omg…the flavors again just explode in your mouth. We also had the homemade coffee gelato that was so refreshing. And lastly the mango sticky rice was out of this world. We will definitely be back to try more. Jake was so personable, knowledgeable of the cuisine and just a pleasure to interact with!
A hidden gem in the Sunnyvale area, simply great food, great environment and great service.
They don’t have a massive menu, but everything we ordered was a success, our group loved it. The banana chip was interesting and goes really well avocado and yoga dips. The pita bread was soft and warm, oyster was sweetly fresh, and skun tuna was so good.
We had a large group of 10 people, during the Google I/O week, so seating was very limited and we had to squeeze quite a bit, but the staff did their best to accommodate, appreciate that.
I’ve had this place on my list for a long time and finally decided to visit on a Friday night. Made a reservation for 2 for 7:45pm and was seated about 5 minutes after checking in with our host, Annabelle. She was so nice and made sure that our accommodations were accounted for, and even asked if we had any allergies before being seated. While we were waiting for a table, she seated us in front of a really cozy fireplace before leading us to our booth. Our server, Angel, immediately greeted us And offered us the choice of still or sparkling water. We decided to order the goat,
empanadas, spicy hand roll dip, skirt steak, and woodfired whole Branzino. I haven’t had a meal like this in a while where I truly thoroughly enjoyed every single bite that I had. On top of that, the cocktails were amazing. If you are a savory girly like me, the goat Gibson is a really great take on a dirty martini that includes a fish sauce brine and a house pickled onion. There are goat espresso martini was also more of a chocolate martini, but nonetheless satisfied a sweet craving. we had our entire meal, including dessert in under 90 minutes and I’m excited to return for our next meal with friends.
You're paying for ambiance, convenience, and location.
First I would just point out the value to quality ratio is off (for food). There were no drinks or food that was amazing it all was okay but the pricing was much higher than you'd expect. This is where I say you're paying for ambiance and convenience.
This was clearly a spot that was built to serve the Google campus. it's a lot of business meetings/post work meet ups. Nothing wrong with that, just pointing it out. The outside is nice and would be a great place to hang out.
Again this is where I call out value proposition. It doesn't have a happy hour.
Food is also decent not fantastic. From the apps we ordered the vegetarian fries and avocado dip were notable. The veggie empanadas and red pepper bread was average to disappointing from a flavor standpoint.
Finally, the service, while good they weirdly kept trying to clear our plates even though there was food still on the plates and we were still eating, even if not at the same speed as initially. I would understand if we were backlogging their reservations but the restaurant was half occupied.
This place is beautifully decorated, and the vibe is amazing. It was my first time here for brunch, and I had a really mixed experience.
crispy quinoa + tuna poke salad: Highly recommend! I saw a lot of people recommending this one, so I decided to give it a try. It’s truly fantastic! The flavor is just right—beautifully seasoned and not overdressed. It comes with fresh avocado, tuna, and herbs. I could never get tired of this dish.
coconut labneh: Do not recommend. I had high hopes for this one since I’ve tried labneh elsewhere and loved how thick and creamy it was. But here, it just doesn’t taste like labneh—it’s not even close to Greek yogurt. I think they just use a really thin yogurt as the base. Although the title says “coconut”, I couldn't taste any coconut flavor in it. The yogurt is sweetened, and the granola is way too sweet—it basically tastes like pure sugar. Even the berries are coated in sugar. This is, so far, the sweetest granola yogurt I have ever had.
Overall, I would come back for the poke salad and try out other dishes.
