Best Times to Visit
As an all-day dining concept, Vardo is suitable for various times, including breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Weekends, particularly for brunch, are likely to be busy.
Vardo was the perfect place for brunch on a beautiful summer day in London. Set beside Duke of York Square, with its fountain and lively courtyard, it had such a relaxed, cheerful atmosphere.
The food was delicious, exceptionally fresh, and made with excellent-quality ingredients. Everything was flavorful without being heavy—perfect before an afternoon of walking around London. The service was friendly and polite, (Celeste was our server and she is sweet) and the lovely setting made it even better.
The food was okey, though due to the simplisity of the order I expected the sauce to be more special for both plates. But in genetal it was good. The service was okey, but mini mistakes were made like forgetting to provide a glass with the water and the receptionist were ovewhelmed in a busy sunday. The location is amazng and outside seating area is a must try in better condition. Not a big fan of there pizza menu combo.

Amesh made our afternoon exceptional. He was warm, attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming throughout. Nothing was too much trouble, and his thoughtful service made the experience truly memorable. A real credit to the team, we look forward to returning because of him also he is so cute.

The place has a really chill vibe, and I felt so lucky to be given a seat right by the window. Sipping on a cold drink while looking out at the flowers blooming just outside made the experience so relaxing and enjoyable.
I ordered the vanilla strawberry pancake, which was just okay. The vanilla cream was good, but there were only two pieces of strawberry, and the presentation didn’t look very attractive. It would be much better if they served fresher and more generously portioned strawberries.
I also really appreciated the lady who served me — she was very nice and friendly, which made the visit even more pleasant.

Stopped at Vardo for lunch, weather surprisingly mild so sat outside in the Duke of York Square.
Great food and excellent service.
Had a turmeric, ginger and cayenne pepper shot to boost the immunity system, great 👍
Pricing fair and good sized food portions. Well presented and very tasty.
I can highly recommend this venue.
Edit :
Two months on and I have to say I am impressed that the owner takes the time to respond to every review positive or negative, a lot of restaurants don't bother.
I review many restaurants on my travels and here at home in CapeTown South Africa.
Well done 👏
I also see my review has had 11277 views to date, I hope this helps to bring patronage to your lovely well run establishment.
