Bentonville Food Theater

So far i tried the ramen, the yakitori, ramen was overpriced too but the quality was fine (3/5) the yakitori, OMG 80+ per person for 3 piece of chicken and 2 piece veritables. Served by a omakase style, I honestly didn't care that much about the price? But i was expecting more food, like the cost for that 5 piece sticks + 1 bowl of soup and 1 bowl of rice, literally is less than 5 dollar. And the quality of the food is horrible(nightmare) never had worse yakitori in my life. The chef burned 4 out of 5 my sticks, and base on my observation he basically burned all the chicken for everyone, like serious charcoal burned, you could taste the bitterness of that black charcoal kind of burned. See image 2, you can see a completely darkness on the grill and they serve that to someone(I’m glad I didn’t get that) but the chef obviously didn’t took any cooking class or maybe it’s the intention of the restaurant’s to serve charcoal to customers? If you like eating charcoal, this is a unique place for you Also the chef don't know anything about yakitori, like the difference between shio and tare. They hired a fake asian teaches the chef to put both salts and sauce on all the sticks, and they do a post grill seasoning that adds a heavy salty and sweet flavor on top of that bitterness of the burned chicken. I have been to fancy restaurant, i have eaten 20 bucks yakitori and 130 bucks yakitori, and i have been to food theater in NY and LA that cost more than 200/person, and i get it, you come for the experience not just the food. However, the bentonville food theater is just way below average on the quality, like they don't even care how the food taste. I know it's a small town, but I certainly don't want to pay 87 dollars for some burned chicken while kpot is only like 40, and i can get full Honestly you could hire me or any other normal person and do a better job at cooking, watching your chef struggling with grilling 10 stick at the same time is like watching hell’s kitchen, I wish Gordon was there to yell at him for burning those food. It's like if you go to asia and someone ask you to pay 80 bucks for a hotdog and they fail to cook it. 😅
