First things first, the atmosphere was amazing. The place was cute, clean, and felt really welcoming from the moment we walked in.
We ordered The American, the Plantain Pancakes, two drinks, and a slice of Tahini Cake. Overall, the food was okay, there were a few things that were really great and a few that were a little underwhelming.
My hot chocolate and my girlfriend's cappuccino were both really good. They were on the milder side, which SHE actually liked because they weren't overly rich or sweet, I’m the opposite however it was still very nice. That said, they could've been served a bit hotter.
The tahini cake was recommended as it was homemade. I used to love tahini, so I had to give it a try. The cake itself was a little dry, but the sauce definitely made up for it. Maybe nostalgia made me biased idk.
The bacon was slightly burnt/overcooked in places and ended up a bit too dry. The pancakes also felt a little dry? On the other hand, the plantain and the hash browns were genuinely amazing. I never used to like plantain, so that was a shocker
The service wasn't the best either, it just felt a little off, if that makes sense. I don't like criticising service because I know how difficult hospitality can be, and it certainly wasn't bad. It just didn't quite feel that “warm”.
That said, our entire meal came to just £42 and I left absolutely stuffed, which doesn't happen often. For the price, it's hard to complain. If you're in the area and fancy a breakfast or brunch, I'd say it's worth a look. Finding breakfast spots at this price in London isn't easy.
Amazing breakfast, they have a rich menu with so many options and the vegan breakfast was so good as well alongside with the regular one and egg benedict. The coffee is good, staff is nice. The portion is huge and they also have a nice turkish tea.
Very good breakfast. Avocado on sourdough topped with pouched eggs, came out great, looking good and taste as well. Spaghetti bolognese little bit too oily, quite big portion tho. Good coffee.

I came here recently to meet a friend who works in the area. Oh, my gosh, the Penne Arrabiata was gorgeous and so much better than I have had elsewhere in London! Fresh cherry tomatoes, delicious, rich tomato sauce, olives, herbs, chilli. Definitely made with love and all for the princely sum of £9.50. Unbelievably good value. My friend's omelette was enormous and came with chips and salad. We both had lemon, ginger and honey tea and it came in generously sized cups! I will definitely be back for the Penne when I'm in the area. Very efficient and friendly service too. A real gem!

On this occasion, ‘Pancake Heaven’ (£12) was ordered. Sad to say that it was not heavenly at all. The assortment of fruits on the plate were cute and added to the overall presentation - but the promised ‘fluffy pancakes’ seemed to be no different than the small scotch pancakes you can grab at your local Tesco. Their texture was not appetizing.
All in our group who had pancakes with our individual meals were left disappointed - and the pancakes remained mainly untouched.
The Turkish Eggs tho, unmatched. Deffo recommend.
