I live down the street and to start I have to say it’s really frustrating how much trash comes from here that we have to clean up. I assume it’s from customers walking down to the beach and littering but it would be nice if the business would send someone out once in a while and clean up.
Today I went in and asked for a soft serve twist and it was too warm for it coming out of the machine so the girl put it in a cup. That was fine but as I walked ten feet to the car I realized exactly how melted it was as it started to leak everywhere, I walked back in less than a minute and the girl I had was busy so I went to the next window. I explained that I had just gotten it literally seconds ago and that it was too melted and asked if I could get someone else she said she couldn’t take things back through the window and I asked why and she said she couldn’t take the item back so I said that I could throw it out if she gave me a new one. She said okay and I threw it out and she went to make the new item. When she came back she tried to charge to which I said I wasn’t paying because I had already paid for one I couldn’t eat because it was leaking everywhere. She said she couldn’t give it to me so i asked if I could get a refund and she said no. I asked to speak to a manager and one of the other girls came over to give it to me and didn’t charge me but the whole interaction made me feel like I was being rude and uncomfortable but I don’t think I should have to pay double in this situation. I don’t know what the protocol usually is when items are too melted to sell but I’m hoping this girl was just new.
I kind of feel like something always happens here, previously friends from out of state visited and they tipped in cash only to find out later that one of the girls wrote in a tip. The owner thankfully gave them a full refund which we are appreciative of but it’s really a downer to give the business more chances and each one is a let down.
I’m not writing this to trash a small business, you guys are great for the most part but between the trash and these situations it is frustrating.

Extremely delicious lobster rolls! Had a lot more meat than I expected, the roll was even delicious. Come on Lobster Roll Tuesday it's a steal! We also had a slice of pizza- the sauce was on the sweeter side but it was exactly what we wanted. We will definitely come back and will recommend! We did have to get an ice cream as well- there are a lot of yummy flavors.
