Hands down one of the best fish houses I've been to on the East coast. Everything comes out piping hot, crisp and very fresh. Portions are great and nice view overlooking the bay, you can see the lobstermen come and and sell. A couple of beer choices and recommend getting a reservation. Fills up fast.
First time stopping here. The lobster rangoon dip is a total game changer. My first ever lobster roll, yummmmm. My bf got the smashburger, also on point for the person who doesnt like seafood. The views are wonderful. When we come back to Gloucester, we will be repeat customers. Liam was our waiter, and he was training, perfect service, sweet kid.

We went whale watching and then decided to have a local meal. My colleague chose this restaurant, which is probably the highest-rated on Gloucester. It was incredibly crowded on Friday night, with wait times starting at half an hour, but the food was just average. Good restaurants are rare in small towns.
1.5 lb Steamed Lobster: The lobster was very cheap, only $32 for 1.5 lbs. It was relatively fresh, with firm meat and some paste, but not particularly plump, especially the claws, which were rather empty.
Halibut Risotto: The halibut meat was coarse and tough. The risotto was cooked more like porridge than a firm, undercooked texture.
Clam Chowder: Extremely salty.
Truffle Fries: Quite ordinary. The fries were a bit cold, and it had black truffle and Parmesan cheese, but that was just about it.
Pasta Chix Caesar Pesto: A seasonal dish, served to the kids at our table. The pesto had a strong raw nutty flavor, and the pasta was overcooked; no wonder the kids didn't like it, lol.
Prickly Pear Spritz: It tasted like no alcohol, and no pear aroma; it was just like a glass of berry lemonade… and it was even served in a plastic cup—so unrefined!

A great find right on the working waterfront of the Massachusetts coast. The halibut risotto was delectable — seared fish with a crispy crust giving way to a soft, flaky, melt-in-your-mouth interior, served over a creamy parmesan risotto studded with summer squash and zucchini. Cooked to perfection and paired nicely with a cold draft.
The setting is classic New England shore — tucked into a genuine harbor with boats, fishing vessels, and salt air, exactly what you hope for on the coast. Truly enjoyed both the meal and the atmosphere.
A wonderful spot worth seeking out.

What a marvelous and needed lobster and seafood restaurant on a working fishing pier on Rocky Neck in Gloucester! Had a magnificent and seeet lobster!🦞 Also, the swordfish, deconstructed lobster, lobster Mac n’Cheese, and lobster pot pie 🥧 looked amazing! Service was excellent! We went in a snowy evening so we did not enjoy the fn water views! No trouble parking! Reservation recommended!
