This is their large fries, ladies and gentlemen. Got a 3.5 hour drive ahead of my family for my children's first beach vacation. And this is their service. Cone blvd has better common sense than this. And yes we do go to Cone blvd location more often.
This McDonald’s location left me pretty disappointed. I ordered a chicken biscuit, but the chicken was rubbery and undercooked—it wasn’t edible, and I ended up throwing it away. Definitely avoid ordering chicken from here.
On the bright side, my sausage McGriddle was decent, so not everything was bad.
The two ladies working the drive-thru window were very kind and provided great service, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the food quality just didn’t meet expectations.

Do you have kids? If not, enjoy while you can, lol. So, I had just left High Point handling business and was headed back to Greensboro. On the way to High Point, he says he’s hungry. So I anticipated my errand to only be 15 minutes and it ended up being 35 minutes. Is anyone bad at leaving places? Like, feel a type of way for having to say “bye” and leaving. Idk. It’s always been a little awkward. But anyway, once in the car, my kid says something along the lines of: “it’s okay stomach. You’ll get some food soon”… Yall... -insert laughing emoji- He’s 9 and he has jokes!
The next stop was to take him to get a haircut. In conversation, he said he’s working on his patience… but I know him. He’s gonna get cranky and whiny. To avoid all that and maintain some piece of mind for myself… we arrived at McDonalds lol. It was around 2:30pm on a Sunday afternoon. I got him a six piece nugget happy meal with fries, apples, and a chocolate milk. I used to McDonald’s app to place a mobile order while sitting in the parking lot. One of the deals in the app was free large fries with a purchase of $1 or more. If you don’t know, using the app to place mobile orders, you not only avoid having to tell someone your order and get aggravated when you have to repeat it, but you also earn points that you can redeem for free food!! Downside is you can’t redeem a deal and use rewards points in the same order… Thus I made a separate order to use my points and got a large mocha frappe because I was feeling really exhausted and thought it would be a good pick me up.
After placing the order, checking in and choosing takeout via the app, I went inside. The food was not quite ready yet. However, I was not waiting for very long. My fries were hot, but after eating was unsure if they were fresh. I enjoyed my frappe as it was delicious… However, maybe no so much later on that day… IYKYK 😂 My son ate his food, so I assume he enjoyed it... But then again, he’s 9 and likes McDonald’s, so I am unsure if he would even complain, lol. He don’t get to get out all the time… #WeGotFoodAtHome, lol. The staff was friendly and have no major complaints. I’ve been here before and I’m sure I’ll end up here again.

You guys have me not just ONE but FOUR raw quarter pounders and I always come to this McDonald’s and I will be taking my service to another location you guys can’t even pick up a phone and when i came in face to face you refused to remake my food or even give my money back hell a weeks supply of free food would have been even better. If you don’t like your job find something else that suites you cause you clearly can not flip burgers nor cook right. Out here just making people sick you should be ashamed of yourself!
