Went for their new menu for the summer. Always loved Chapman’s and Metsi’s is a welcome substitute and their focus in Italian is well done. I loved the General Ciao’s which is cauliflower done like the beloved Chinese chicken version. Also definitely do the Mushroom Arancini. Servers and chefs are amazing. Try to get seated in their lower level where the open hearth is situated. Quick and polite service. Ample paid parking in the short north. Highly recommended place to dine in the short north.
Everything was delicious! We went almost at closing time, worried that some dishes might no longer be available or that the service would be bad, but it completely exceeded our expectations.
The place is beautiful, there is a parking garage right next to it which makes everything easier. The food is delicious, it feels fresh and homemade. I loved it! The coconut semifreddo dessert is an explosion of flavors, just like the pasta. We will definitely come back to keep trying more dishes.
We had a fantastic experience for our anniversary dinner at Metsi's. The service was top notch, thanks Savannah. My husband loved the linguini al mare and I was very happy with my mushroom ragu which they made vegetarian friendly for me. We finished off with the tiramisu which was perfect. Made for a perfect date night.
While it was an expensive dinner, it was very nice. Pretty much all of the food (with the exception of some of the melon we had) was incredibly flavorful and well prepared. I really recommend the Amatriciana (main) and the General Ciao's Cauliflower (Appetizer).
We enjoyed our date night here and would definitely come back for more!
First time to Metsi’s and we sat in the basement at the chefs table across from the kitchen and it was just a great experience overall. Beautiful space and great service. The food was delicious and memorable. The seafood pasta was so delicious and the bone in rib eye special was seared perfectly and a great price. They have Sassicaia by the glass at a very reasonable price which is very special as I’ve never seen it by the glass in any other Columbus restaurant. Highly recommend Metsi’s and can’t wait to get back!
