You can finally find an Adeni shai/chai in Boston! While the opening of Yemeni cafes has taken the country by storm, Boston has sadly been left out…until now! The drought has come to an end!
Minara is a beautiful and new cafe in Cambridge that is worth checking out! I stopped by for an event and was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance, the drinks, and the warm customer service.
I highly recommend the Adeni shai, as a go-to option, and the iced Minara karkade if you’re in the mood for a more unique flavor. The sumac & citrus dawn was also very flavorful and a unique take on a traditional yogurt parfait. Highly recommend!
The staff is very kind and really go the extra mile. They also shared that they are in a temporary space/popup for the time being, so definitely put them at the top of your list to visit before they move!
This place is so cozy and lovely! They have a cute listening library with modern and vintage vinyls. When I went the DJ was spinning live tracks to match the mood of the book talk and it was awesome. I have the sage tea and yemini chai which was excellent. The granola yogurt bowl was FIRE—like a decadent heathy nighttime dessert! Their programs were as awesome as their library. I’m tryna go back every day!
Beautiful space filled with beautiful people who are welcoming to all ages and backgrounds. Hands down, the best Adeni Chai in all of Boston and Cambridge.
This is an incredible new pop-up café in the area, everyone should come here!
Super unique and reasonably priced drinks, plus an amazing space to read books, play games, also listen to live music. And the people are really kind and friendly. :)
The community here is truly special. We’ve met wonderful people, shared thoughtful conversations over some delicious drinks, and found real friendships that have made this city feel like home so much faster than we expected (we just moved here from across the country half a year ago). Minara has given us a place to connect, unwind, and feel welcomed, so we’re eternally grateful for this space.
