As someone who loves Uzbek cuisine, especially Uzbek plov (pilau), I was delighted to discover OshPaz. The plov was absolutely outstanding, authentic, full of flavour, and easily one of the best Uzbek pilau dishes I have had in London.
The staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant has a warm atmosphere and feels like a genuine taste of Uzbekistan.
If you’re a fan of Central Asian food or simply want to try something different, this place is definitely worth a visit.
The Uzbek plov is a must try.
Highly recommended and I will certainly be back!
Love the food and service. There was a nice guy with his brother who served us and I talked to him in Farsi. He knew some poetry. Such fun to get to know other nations with shared history. The food reminded me of Persian and Russian foods. Definitely recommend white tea pot. It was very good.
I recently tried OshPaz and honestly, it was one of the most satisfying Uzbek meals I’ve had in London. The food felt authentic, comforting, and full of rich flavor.
The standout dish was the lamb plov — perfectly cooked rice with tender, juicy lamb that was packed with deep, slow-cooked flavor. The portions were generous, and the balance of spices, carrots, and meat made it incredibly comforting without feeling too heavy.
The beef samsy was another highlight. Crispy, golden pastry on the outside with flavorful minced beef inside — fresh, flaky, and seriously addictive. It paired perfectly with the sauces and salad on the side.
I also tried the chicken mantu, which were soft, delicate, and well-seasoned. The filling was juicy, and the yogurt sauce added a creamy freshness that balanced the dish beautifully.
The atmosphere was relaxed and modern, service was friendly, and everything tasted freshly made. Great presentation too — the meal looked as good as it tasted.
If you want authentic Central Asian food in London, OshPaz is absolutely worth visiting. I’d definitely come back for the plov alone.

I tried Oshpaz once when they were based in seven dials market so I was excited to see they opened a restaurant, but as much as I wanted to love the food, I struggled to finish it.
I had the tender lamb noodles with the broth and I think you could’ve picked out the lamb and made a singular puzzle piece out of it. The rest of the toppings were plain tasting vegetables and the broth itself was strangely acidic and lacked any depth of flavour.
The beef dumplings fell apart as soon as you tried to pick them up. The yogurt/ sour cream dip they were served with added little to an already plain dish.
The service and the atmosphere on the other hand were great, good vibes all around. I’m probably just not the audience this food is catering for.
What a wonderful find. I found out about this place via TikTok and saw comfort in food. This is the first time I have tried a cuisine that is not my home comfort (English food) and felt that home comfort. We had puff samsy (beef), manti (chicken), olivier salad and chicken noodles as pictured. We also had a raspberry mint lemonade and a mango passion lemonade. Everything and I mean everything was delicious. Highly recommend and not too expensive for London at £66 including a 12.5% service charge.
