We were able to get right in and they had no problem accommodating our party of 6 plus a baby. The server was awesome and provided top notch customer care. 👌 Everyone enjoyed their food, which came quickly and had generous portions. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxed quality meal.
Simmzy's is an absolute must visit when in Belmont Shores. The open air feeling along with the glass curtain wall separating you from the kitchen is fantastic. This bar and grill menu has something for everyone and the cuisine is amazing. Their happy hour is the best in Long Beach by far. Deals on great beers and appetizers!
Love this place, been here mutiple times and it never disappoints! We always start off with the caramelized Brussel Sprouts because they are to die for. I always get the Salmon Sando sauce its my favorite thing on the menu and so does my man! Also thank you Chelsea for being so sweet and attentive, full section of tables and yet she was on top of it with refills and making sure we were good! This is why I live to come here good food and good service!!!
My family and I have been loyal Simzzy's customers since the day they opened, and I've been coming to this location even before Simzzy's was here. That's why our experience tonight was so disappointing.
We came to celebrate two birthdays with family who traveled from Orange County. The restaurant wasn't busy, yet our server was unfriendly, never smiled, and showed no empathy when we politely asked to replace an overly salty pizza. At the end of the meal, we discovered we had been charged for both pizzas. Had I not reviewed the bill carefully, we would have been overcharged.
The most disappointing part was how the situation was handled. Instead of apologizing for the incorrect bill or the poor service, the manager—who said he was also a part owner—became defensive and told me he was "trying to make me happy." I replied that I didn't want to be made happy; I simply wanted our bill corrected.
Mistakes happen. What matters is how they're handled. Unfortunately, there was no apology, no empathy, and no professionalism. After years of supporting this restaurant, this was by far the worst experience we've had. I hope management invests in customer service training, because loyal customers deserve better.
The food was ok. Regular bar food. The citrus salmon salad was really good. I liked the fries. The wings were ok. They were cooked well but felt like they needed more wing sauce. Family got burgers and tacos they said they were good but nothing memorable about them.
