Stockyards Bar is a lively country-western bar and restaurant located in Downtown Fredericksburg, known for its energetic atmosphere, live music, karaoke, line dancing, and a mechanical bull named 'Buck Norris'. It offers a fun night out with food and drinks.
Customers generally praise the delicious food, strong drinks, and the vibrant atmosphere, especially the live music and dancing. Specific servers like Alyssa, Emali, and Kelsie J have received commendations for excellent service. However, some reviews note that weekend nights can be extremely busy, leading to long waits and a very loud environment. There have been mentions of less attentive hostess staff on busy nights and suggestions for increased security due to the lively crowd.
The bar features a mechanical bull, affectionately named 'Buck Norris', which adds to its unique country-western entertainment. It's a popular spot for live music, karaoke, and line dancing in Fredericksburg.
For a quieter dining experience, weekday evenings (e.g., Monday) are recommended. For those seeking a lively country-western bar experience with live music, dancing, and the mechanical bull, Friday and Saturday nights, as well as 'Sunday Funday', are ideal, though expect crowds and potential waits.
