Terra Grill

New joint that just opened in Northern Liberties and located within the Piazza. As always, parking might be tough to find in this area, but there is Valet service. Reservations are available via Resy. The ambiance is very trendy inside, whereas the outside is definitely brighter. The menu wasn't overwhelming, and prices were a bit higher than typical so expect to pay a bit more, which is expected as they market the restaurant is owned by Chef Laurent Tourondel. We ended up ordering several appetizers, including the rolls, calamari, and octopus. No lie, these were amazing! The octopus was one of the best I've ever had, and it would've been better if it was warmer when it got to our table. I had the spicy Asian salad with tuna and it was also amazing. The service was the main reason I did not rate this restaurant a 5. We sat outside and it wasn't that full, but yet our server(s) were hard to find at times. In addition, when we ordered drinks, it took a very long long time to arrive. It happened during the first round and the server apologized and said there was a large order ahead of us. And then it happened again on our 2nd round, and this time it was even longer and we had to catch the manager's attention. Not entirely sure what was going on. However, I would come back again because the food and vibes were pretty good.

The four of us dined here for dinner and had a wonderful experience! Theo, our server, was great. Offering suggestions on the food & drinks and was extremely polite.

I’ve lived in northern liberties for 3 years and when Terra opened I was so happy to check it out! The food was great, but tonight we had Maya serve us and she was absolutely incredible. So friendly, personal and professional. We unfortunately will be leaving Philly in a few weeks, but will 100% be back because of the food and the incredible service that Maya provided us!

Terra Grill is what NoLibs needed - an upscale restaurant with good cocktails and food! The patio was lovely on a beautiful night. The standouts were the parker house rolls and pasion en fuego cocktail. The apps were all good but nothing spectacular. The short rib bao buns were our least favorite as they were a tad dry and needed some kind of sauce. Service was fine, not very personal but attentive. I would definitely still come back in the future to try other things or at the bar for a drink!
