One of those places that feels special as soon as you walk in. The historic building and gorgeous atrium are absolutely stunning, and it has such a romantic atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot for a date night or celebrating a special occasion. The cocktails were excellent, and the food was just as good. Everything we ordered was delicious, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. The service was friendly, attentive, and never felt too formal, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It’s definitely on the expensive side, but I honestly think the atmosphere alone makes it worth it. If you’re looking for amazing drinks, great food, and one of the most beautiful dining spaces in New York City, I’d definitely recommend checking it out.
We stayed at The Beekman for our wedding on Friday and stopped into The Bar Room the following morning for breakfast—what a wonderful way to start our first day as newlyweds.
Our server was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making the morning feel relaxed and special. Thank you for helping make the experience so memorable.
My wife enjoyed the Greenmarket Breakfast, which was fresh, seasonal, and beautifully presented. I had the Avocado Toast topped with a perfectly cooked sunny-side-up egg, paired with a rich, strong espresso. Everything was flavorful, thoughtfully prepared, and expertly executed.
Between the exceptional service, delicious food, and elegant atmosphere, The Bar Room was the perfect setting for a memorable morning after such a special celebration. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning.

Great atmosphere, great place to meet up and grab drinks downtown. Stylish and luxurious. Fantastic cocktails menu and good appetizer selection - the tuna tartare stands out. Relaxed environment.

Me and my boyfriend had high expectation with this place but it was extremely disappointed us. The service was terrible. We ordered steak tartare, roasted cod and prime grilled hanger steak. The tartare was served 30 mins after we order and the entree were served 30 mins after we finished our app. It was weird that the food took so long even though the place wasn’t busy. I saw the table next to us, they came and ordered food after is 30 mins but got the food the same time with us. When I asked the sever why did the food take so long but she said the food came within a reasonable time 🙄 The food prices don’t reflect the quality of the service. Never come back again !
