UB Preserv was a restaurant by Underbelly Hospitality that aimed to represent the diverse cultures and unique character of Houston through its food. It was a reincarnation of the original Underbelly restaurant, located at 1609 Westheimer Road.
Customer feedback indicated appreciation for its focus on capturing the unique character of Houston and its diverse culinary influences, offering an evolution of local food experiences.
UB Preserv closed its doors on December 23, 2021. The space was subsequently replaced by a new bar called Everlong, also from chef Chris Shepherd.
The restaurant is permanently closed. When operational, it served dinner on Wednesday through Saturday and brunch on Sunday.
