However, some reviews mention issues with loud music, dishes being underseasoned, and occasional service delays due to staff shortages. The Hanger Steak was noted by one reviewer as being tough to chew.

The spread at this restaurant looks incredible! The variety of dishes, from fresh sandwiches and vibrant salads to rich pasta and beautifully grilled meats, shows a thoughtful and diverse menu. The presentation is elegant, with the multi-tiered serving tray adding a touch of sophistication. Everything looks fresh and inviting, especially the perfectly cooked proteins and the warm, hearty bread. This spot seems perfect for a relaxed yet upscale dining experience. Highly recommended for foodies looking for both variety and quality!
I like the Vivin grocery stores a lot especially the one near Asok bts. However, everytime I go the music is too loud. I cannot concentrate/ relax to be honest. Some of the songs in the music are a bit weird as well. I recommend turning it down a bit so as to not annoy the customer. Still giving the 4 star rating as the food is great. thanks
Expected quality dishes based on reviews but the experience fell slightly short due to food flavor and service shortage. Overall a 3.5/5 for this brunch but a 4.5/5 if you're here to find another alternative to El Mercado. I recommend slimming the menu and focusing more on a few memorable options for brunch options.
Vibe and food sourcing quality is great. This place screams organic and locally sourced ingredients from wine to vegetable farms. Dishes were a bit underseasoned in my view. Came for a few signature dishes such as the Hanger Steak and the cheese platter but it did not stand out. Hanger is indeed fiesty to chew but the butter and Vivin salt makes up for the thick texture. Recommend to go for medium rare as our rare version was a chunky, intensive chewing experience. Or perhaps the chef can slice into smaller pieces while serving it with thicker rosemary tomatoes.
The Burrata Salad is highly recommended as it has an abundant amount cheese, fresh tomatoes, and creamy interior topped with sprinkles of basil sauce. The Honey Americano is also recommended as the coffee has a delightful taste but is a bit pricey (THB 160, iced version).
Our server was short handed serving three tables upstairs. It took 1.5 hours to finish our brunch even when there was no queue or table ahead of us. The time to finish was not the standard of a well-paced brunch, so if this place is packed with orders, expect significant delays.
The restaurant has extremely well curated selections of fresh produce and wine for two floors. This place is also pet-friendly.
THB 600-1,000 per person. For our group we ordered alot of dishes so our pay is on the higher end.
Parking is a breeze, there is plenty of free space infront of the restaurant.
I visited Vivin Grocery with my parents on a Monday lunchtime. This newly opened branch of the bistro is a short walk from Samitivej hospital. They also have a branch in Asoke.
The bistro only uses locally sourced ingredients, and the vegan cheese is oil free.
I ate the vegan cheese board with my mom and had the vegan eggplant sandwich. My mom also ate the vegetarian sandwich on Viennese bread. She was impressed by its freshness. My dad ate the Jambon set, which came with a side salad and drink. He said, it really hit the spot.
I loved that the restaurant catered to all of our needs.
On the vegan cheeseboard was a wide range of cashew cheeses created by chef Edoardo. They also sell their vegan cheeses in store, which include feta, classic, chilli, smoked, herb crusted, truffle cheese spread. I loved the classic and herb crusted. There was so much, I was able to take some home.
I also had an iced latte with locally sourced vegan milk.
On the day we visited, the bistro was quiet, which is perfect for anyone who wants to work and fill their belly. They can cater to large and small groups as they have a wide, open plan space.
I searched the internet and found this Bistro so I decided to visit for my own experience.
The most interesting fact is that all premium liquor, variety of cheese, salami, etc are all made in Thailand. These are made with fine quality and I think we should support these development so that we will encourage the local producers to grow the quality product and enrich sustainable development. I tried cold cut and cheese which was nice and duck confit was good too
