It was our first night in Savannah and we were told about this little restaurant just around the corner… Bella Napoli. Malia greeted us at the door and said “I have a table just for you!” We walked through this adorable, cozy restaurant and were seated at a lovely table next to a cork wall.
Aisley was our delightful server. She was helpful and friendly and attentive whatever we needed. Before we could even say “could I get another napkin?” There it was.
We decided to share… delicious mozzarella triangles, fresh, crisp Caesar salad, gnocchi with a delicious red sauce and a dreamy lemony chicken. All the portions were generous and beautiful.
It was an incredibly memorable night with delicious food & wine, fantastic service, lovely little pens with lights on the tip of them, and a beautiful setting.
Thank you.
1st time here. Our Little one wanted to take her Mama for Italian.. we googled a few place then walked over to Bella’s.
Greeted by Joey(Amazing guy) and walked into a nice vibe. Everyone was so pleasant. Zack, Ryan, Tyler and Ms Abby came over at the end to chat-Very classy and polite folks. Everyone came to check on us often.
Had the Fresh tomato n Burrata salad. Calamari& Shrimp. Veal parm(I asked for it with a Vodka sauce sub) Mussels n Linguine and our Luna Mia had the lasagna. Finished with the Tiramisu. All very nice.
Walking to the bathroom I peeked into the kitchen - very clean kitchen and happy staff making the food. We owned a restaurant in Staten Island NY… when kitchen staff is playing music and laughing… you know you’re good.
It was a pleasure chatting with the staff and we will be back for date nights.
Cheers to the staff for making Mama Bears Birthday one to remember! Ciao for now!

An actually quite delicious and unique Italian restaurant. No wonder it has so many good reviews and can have a line some nights. It of course has many of your favorite Italian red sauce favorites but also other unique dishes. Many of the dishes have a very nice plating, so there is a lot of effort and attention put into the presentation. It is not standard Italian red sauce style. This goes beyond that and provides an elevated touch while maintaining the core style and flavors. It is a shame I did not get to try their famous parm wheel pasta when I was there. Though the inside is small, their interior design is very Italian-American and a good option for date nights and special occasions that won't break the bank. Of all the Italian restaurants in Savannah, this is one of the better ones.
Complimentary bread 8.2/10 - Wasn't the biggest fan of vinegar with parmesan cheese and oil, but the bread was nice. It was rather plain but had a cheese crust on it which added more crunch and flavor. I've had better bread services at other Italian restaurants, but this was above average for sure.
Chicken Parm 7.0/10- Definitely not the best chicken parm I have had. It is indeed very Italian red sauce style. It came way too acidic, and the chicken cutlet itself was not too crunchy. Reminds me of average chicken parm you can get anywhere. The portion size was also below average. Get the chicken marsala instead.
Chicken Marsala 9.2/10 - An absolutely delicious chicken marsala. One of the best I have tried, especially for this style. For Italian red sauce style, this is almost the best you can get. When it reaches the gourmet Italian style, it would get less points, but this is still phenomenal! Chicken marsala is a hit or miss at most restaurants, but absolutely a hit at this one. The star of the show is, of course, the marsala wine sauce. This sauce actually holds a deeply infused wine flavor while not being overwhelming. The mushrooms help add even more flavor. The chicken itself was just OK but soaked up that beautiful sauce perfectly. Mix all that with the pasta and you have a very satisfying and perfect dinner. I will have to try other dishes, but I am confident that this might be the best item on the menu!

The hostess SAVED us from leaving our stuff behind after an amazing meals. The food was delicious, especially the eggplant parmesan. The gnocchi was really good as well. The prices are fine for the area, and the atmosphere is dark and private. Highly recommend.

The food was fantastic! We ordered a variety of dishes and each were as good as the next. The food was very reasonably priced for such a high quality of food. The portions were perfect. Not large enough for two people to split but definitely enough to share with others. The service was group styled (you were not assigned one server), and they were very attentive.
