i am sincerely confident that this is the best restaurant in london. dish after dish is completely maxed out on flavour - the absolute pinnacle of savouriness, could not have a single bite more (in the perfect sense). for anyone doubting an offaly part of the menu, think again, it is so accessible simply because it is just so delicious. this alone would make it stand out, but this also has a beautiful vibe and playlist was fantastic, you feel like you’re in france… and the service was impeccable throughout. max looked after us the entire evening, with danny and the team stepping in seamlessly, overall making an incomparably perfect evening. amazing service, food, setting… what more do you possibly want?
Very flexible and friendly with the booked table times.
Walked in and was greeted with a smile and a conversation. Then was seated with the menu and talked through it. Every staff member so friendly inviting helpful and warming.
Ordered the potatoes, the sausage, crepe, and the T-Bone steak. I was told about the wait time for the steak and updated too.
Food was unbelievable. Everything cooked to perfection with a perfect balance of flavour.
Staff made us feel at home. Atmosphere and was a close knitted hearty vibe.
Overall so pleased with the experience, food and price. Would highly recommend!

A tiny, charming restaurant tucked away in Borough Market. The menu is distinctly French and pleasantly eclectic, featuring ingredients that may not appeal to everyone, such as sweetbreads, tripe, and chicken hearts. The cooking was excellent overall, with bold, well-executed flavours. My only criticism is that the chef seems a little too fond of salt, which occasionally overpowered some of the dishes.

The food is so french for real! However except the salad, not much for vegetarians. Splendid personnel, very kind all of them. The place is lovely but outdoor accomodation not so comfortable lookslikebistrot table and bench. I'll go back again to taste more dishes.

I visited for lunch on a Thursday. Booking ahead wasn’t necessary and as a solo diner I was given the choice of a regular table or counter seating (they have both bar and window facing options).
I ordered the mutton crepinette (giant meatball), the onglet and ox tongue, and for dessert the chocolate cremeux. The food was very enjoyable and like in any good French restaurant the sauces stole the show! The steak in particular came in a very decadent cafe de Paris sauce. I was less of a fan of the ox tongue which took up as much space as the onglet on the plate, which I hadn’t expected. Dessert was a strong finish, the cremeux was excellent.
Service was very friendly, the staff were personable and I felt well taken care off. The bill for my lunch came to £78 including a £13 glass of wine. On the whole there’s a lot to like about Camille. It’s a cosy neighbourhood bistro type setting, the service is warm and friendly, and the kitchen showed great potential. It doesn’t quite get full marks from me because of the menu selection, which I found quite limited as someone who doesn’t eat pork and isn’t the biggest fan of offal. This is just down to personal preference though, I still rate them highly and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. 4.5 stars.
