Cinnamon Kitchen City is one of several restaurants under 'The Cinnamon Collection' umbrella, which also includes The Cinnamon Club and other Cinnamon Kitchen locations in Battersea and Leeds. The culinary concept focuses on a fusion of Indian and British traditions.
The restaurant is popular for both lunch and dinner, with reviews mentioning both. The outdoor terrace makes it particularly appealing during warmer months, though heaters ensure comfort even in cooler weather. Given its City location, it's likely a popular spot for business lunches and after-work dinners.
We had a wonderful lunch on the outside Terrace of this restaurant. We were served by a fabulous waitress called Ash.
All the food that we ordered was delicious we particularly loved the King prawn dish, the lentils and the spinach sauce on the cauliflower dish.
We indulged in their home-made ice creams as well as the pistachio kulfi.
Ash realised that we had a bit of a sweet tooth and to our surprise she kindly brought out an extra dessert which we hadn’t ordered but we would totally go back and order. It was so light and refreshing not at all heavy see pictures!
Our thanks go to Ash for making our lunch such a memorable event.
The food was absolutely DIVINE!!! We had the Summer sharing menu, which was such good value for money.
Nurul was great, so attentive and we didn’t have to wait to order drinks and food came just on time.
We will definitely visit again

We held our baby shower at Cinnamon Kitchen and were extremely happy with the experience. The decor was beautiful – we booked the upper terrace and it was covered in flowers and plants, which created a lovely atmosphere. Although it was January and the weather was cooler, the heaters and lamps kept everyone comfortable.
The food was excellent. We selected a set menu and all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff and particularly Shatarupa was also fantastic, very friendly, attentive, and regularly checked in to see if we needed anything.
I would definitely recommend Cinnamon Kitchen for events, and I’ll absolutely be considering it again for any future celebrations.

I have been to 3 of Cinnamon's retaurants in London over the years multiple times. Cinnamon Kitchen near Battersea, Cinnamon Bazaar in Covent Garden and Cinnamon Kitchen in The City.Whenever friends visit London, Cinnamon has been the Go To place. So,other than one of their Senior Chef's being a friend, it was the natural choice when we as family wanted to celebrate something special in the Family.
We chose Cinnamon Kitchen in The City because I wanted to show the family around the modern quarter of London and its stunning Architectural marvels after out Lunch Outing.
Chef Rakesh helped book us in for lunch for Saturday. We arrived at the restaurant on time.Being a weekend in the City the place was not as busy as I had seen them on other occassions. Reji, the front office manager, offered us the choice of sitting on the atrium deck with a view of the silhouette of the Gherkin.
Aishwarya then brought us the menus on offer on the day. There was their A la Carte and the Weekend Brunch Menu ( A tasting menu of sorts). Two of us chose vegetarian on the day.So she offered the vegetarian alternative for the two of us.
Aishwarya offered us drinks We chose the Mocktails which , she mentioned , was a Guava based drink made with Guava puree made in house freshly everyday.
The Menus covered dishes from across India. 2 of us chose the exclusively Veg option of the Brunch Menu and the youngsters chose the mixed Brunch Menu. They were keen to try a couple of dishes from the a la carte which Aishwarya was kind to offer as part of the Brunch menu.
Chef Rajeev Kumar then brought out the Amuse Bouche - Pani Puri, the street food favourite from the north of India. He was keen to find out about the occasion and any special dietary needs.
Then the first course was delivered. They were very generous with portions. They had extra samosas. I loved the variety on offer. I particularly loved the Malai Broccoli. The youngsters loved the adaptation on the Pao Bhaji (from Mumbai/Maharastra), the bhaji replaced with Keema, pork belly from Goa (?) and the additional Chole Batture they ordered from the a la carte menu.
By the time the next course arrived, we were nearly full. We vegetarians were served Jackfruit Biriyani and the youngsters were served Chicken Biriyani. Besides that we had Utthappam and the Allepey Prawn (ordered extra from a la carte), dishes from the southern region of India. We restricted ourselves to a spoon each of the Biriyanis. We couldn't have left them unfinished. So we requested to pack just the Biriyanis and the Prawn curry.
Like Good Continental restaurants they served breads - Paratas, Naans served with Chole , Dal Makhani - with each course
Chef Rajeev Kumar came out to meet a second time. We talked about the food. And he was very particular that we waste no food and requested his team to pack the left over paratas utthappams.
We were then served our Dessert. I loved the Rasmalai (from Bengal) and the youngstets enjoyed the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheese cake.
Finally we were ready for the bill and getting organised to leave. Reji brought out the SURPRISE of the day Team Cinnamon put together for us, A Birthday Cake. Lovely Gesture. We had the traditional singing of Happy Birthday and a tiny sliver of the Chocolate cake.and requested the cake be shared amongst their team. But Aishwarya took it away and brought it back packed for us to take away.
We spent 3 hours at Cinnamon Kitchen. The entire team Chef Rajeev Kumar, Reji, Aishwarya , Roshini took Great care of Us. Chef Rakesh was busy in another of their restaurants on the day.But he and the Team at Cinnamon Kitchen made sure that the Food and Hospitality were Top Notch on the day.Thank You Team Cinnamon. You were Kind and Generous We Loved Every Bit of it.
