Had High Tea w/my friend to relax and catch up at. The atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant as we were briefly late to our 3pm reservation but the host was polite and guided us inside, which were greatly appreciated.
The food was unique and splendid as it had many diverse treats and it was paired well with the drinks choices - Tea/Coffee. The service provided by Leo & Donna was well as well, as they ensure our experience was comfortable and enjoyable, even offering to take a photo for us. And a special thanks to Shirlina who offered to explain to us the different desserts and accommodated to our needs!
Would recommend the Matcha Swan dessert & Vanda Miss Joaquim Tea as it is paired up well. Overall, the interior was beautifully decorated and taken care of which felt warm and aesthetic.
I had a wonderful high tea experience at Ginger.Lily. The ambience was elegant, relaxing, and perfect for an enjoyable afternoon. The service was attentive, warm, and professional throughout the visit.
The food was delicious and beautifully presented, with every item thoughtfully prepared. The desserts were especially impressive — not only tasty, but also creatively designed. You can truly see the amount of effort, passion, and attention to detail the chef put into every piece.
Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I would highly recommend Ginger.Lily for anyone looking to enjoy a quality high tea in a lovely setting
Had a fantastic time at Ginger.Lily. We came for their afternoon tea. The menu was delightful. We especially enjoyed the sweet selection which was perfectly balanced. Their tea/coffee was free flow for 2hours so we got to try 3 kinds of tea.
Special thanks to Donna and the chefs for arranging special food alternatives for me on such short notice. I didnt expect them to and was prepared to not be able to eat some dishes. I appreciate the extra mile they went to accomadate my dietary restrictions.
Also want to thank Joffrey for helping us to take photos. He was so professional! Even arranging the food nicely for that perfect shot.
Their friendly service and top notch food make this a dining experience not to be missed! Will be back again. :)
Thank you Shirlina, Laine and Donna for the excellent experience. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. Teas and coffees are free flow.
Recommend you save one of two savoury items because eating all the sweets might leave you feeling jelak.
Lots of items leaving us feeling very well fed.
They also have credit card discounts available.
We tried the “From Root to Bloom” afternoon tea and were unfortunately disappointed, especially given the price.
The savoury items were enjoyable, but the desserts were overwhelmingly sweet. Many tasted similar because of the heavy use of cream, and even our children didn’t want to finish them. A better balance between savoury and sweet items would have made the experience much more enjoyable.
Service was also disappointing. We waited almost 30 minutes for our first round of drinks despite the restaurant being relatively quiet. Before our seating ended, we ordered another pot of tea, but it only arrived around 30 minutes later, leaving us less than 15 minutes to finish it before we had to leave. The delays made what should have been a relaxing afternoon tea feel rushed.
The ambience depended very much on the seating location. We were placed in a dark corner, while the central seating area looked much brighter and more inviting. The presentation also didn’t match our expectations from the promotional photos and felt underwhelming for the price.
Overall, while the savoury items were good, the overly sweet desserts, slow service, and disappointing presentation meant the experience did not offer good value for money.
