First off, the pricing is completely transparent—everything is clearly listed on the menu, so there is no need to worry about hidden costs. The Sri Lankan crabs we ordered were incredibly fresh and meaty. We chose the Chili Crab and the Black Pepper Crab, both of which were spectacular. The chili sauce had the perfect balance of sweetness and spice, and mopping it up with mantou was a highlight of our meal. The black pepper sauce was equally impressive—aromatic, bold, and perfectly seasoned.
The service is thoughtful and professional. They provide boxes for your bags and backpacks to keep them clean, along with aprons, gloves, and specialized tools to extract every bit of meat from the crab.
However, what truly stood out was the kindness of the staff. As we finished our meal, a heavy rainstorm started. Being tourists, we were caught unprepared without umbrellas or raincoats. One of the staff members noticed our predicament and kindly gifted us a raincoat and an umbrella. We were so touched by this gesture! It turned a stressful moment into a wonderful memory. We highly recommend this place for both the incredible food and the genuinely caring staff.
A local friend pointed me to No Signboard Seafood at Geylang for chilli crab, and it was a really solid choice. The seafood felt fresh, the flavors were strong without being overwhelming, and the bill was more reasonable than I expected for this kind of meal. I’d happily go back again.

For the price, it’s unsurprising I get what I requested for, without much challenge. I requested for extra large crabs, and without question, they were able to keep 2 for me.
We tried black pepper & salted egg sauce. Both I will recommend. Giant bamboo clam was served with good presentation. Taste bland.
It’s a restaurant that gives you what you want (They even serve durians!) as long as you pay for it.
I think I would recommend, not for the price, but for the service.

This restaurant is my go to place for crabs! The chili crab brings back so much nostalgia, while the salted egg crab is my ultimate favorite. The sauce from the superior seafood pot pairs perfectly with rice. Absolutely delicious! Service is always good, and I make it a point to visit at least three times a year for special occasions like Mother’s Day. Truly a thumbs up experience every time!

I had no idea there was a seafood restaurant located in the middle of Geylang road. The alfresco dining area basically feels like road being fenced with a cover and a lot of floral decorative lights around. So one may like it if he is reminiscent of the older Singapore.
We started off with Yu Sheng. We were distracted with a sudden recording being played. When the waitress served the yusheng, she poured the ingredients and asked us to just listen to the recording, which is totally robotic and not in sync. We told her this is the first time we have yusheng in this manner. Without the live spoken greetings is half the experience gone! Her face turned black and replied that if she had to do this, she would lose her voice very fast! The yusheng price is similar to that of a restaurant so we did not think it was something that we should not expect. We feedback to another female staff on this matter. Especially we were having our foreign friends who are visiting Singapore for the first time and we wanted them to experience louhei during the CNY period. We gave our feedback to another female staff who immediately apologized and gave a brief explanation for the greetings.
The star dishes are the crabs. The ginger white pepper crab tastes better than the chili crab. Though the chili crab sauce is always good with the deep fried mantou. Another nice dish is the drunken prawn and the prawns taste sweet.
The claypot tofu, 3 eggs spinach, yam paste are decent. I did not like the sweet and sour pork.
