From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place is built with intention. they guy in the front is the BEST, I include his picture as I don’t know his name, The attention to detail in the decor, the atmosphere, the presentation, and even the little touches throughout the space make the experience feel special. The vibe is effortlessly cool without trying too hard.
The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, creative, and packed with flavor. Every bite lived up to the hype. On top of that, the customer service was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, making the whole experience even better.
This has officially become my favorite place to have brekkie in Philadelphia, and it’s one of those places you’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommend!
Lets gooo!!! So i finally came to this spot after being told the pancakes are amazing. There was a short wait suggest getting here early. Coffee is pretty solid had a straight black with half and half. I ordered the burrito which was soo good with the jalapeño mayo sauce. So freaking good!! Also order latke'd hash brown whic was good but not a fan of the dile sauce would just suggest the sour cream. The pancake with the orange citris flavor syrup was great. Price wise a little high but when using quality ingredients thats expected. Over all i would definitely revisit.

Middle Child is such a cute spot! You line up, place your order, grab a seat, and they bring everything right to you. I’ve always loved the food and vibe here....it’s casual, fun, and everything feels worth ordering.
The BLT is definitely hyped for a reason: Urban Roots heirloom tomatoes, crispy bacon, arugula, and mayo. I waited in line for it, but the line moved quickly and it was 100% worth it.
The big pancake is another must! I prefer the classic version over the orange honey, and it’s the perfect little treat to share with the table.
And whatever you do, don’t skip the “Latke’d” Hash Brown with dill cream and trout roe. Crispy, creamy, salty perfection. Such a fun spot for brunch!

This place felt like a nostalgic American breakfast diner made for hipsters, in a good way.
I was honestly surprised to see it so packed on a Wednesday morning. The atmosphere had a fun, lively energy that made the place feel popular with both locals and visitors.
We ordered a pancake, a Midgriddle, and a hashbrown. I really enjoyed my Midgriddle - it had a thick, square egg custard between the buns that made it feel richer and more satisfying than a typical breakfast sandwich. The sausage was a bit hard and dry.
My friend’s hashbrown looked delicious, crispy, and well cooked. Her pancake was huge and looked more like a cake than the usual thin pancake. The butter portion was also very generous and even had a cute little face stamped onto it, which was a fun touch. The pancake did come out a bit later after we had already finished most of the other food, though.
I liked my iced latte, but the clemonade was strong and needed to be diluted with water several times before drinking.
One thing I appreciated was that you could pack your own leftovers using boxes and bags provided by the restaurant. It was convenient and meant we didn’t have to wait for a server to prepare everything for us.
Overall, a fun breakfast spot with personality, generous portions, and a memorable diner-style atmosphere.

Foods great and the service is even better. Smartest thing is letting us get our own stuff off the "green table" like water, silverware, and our own to go boxes. We got there 20 minutes before they closed it was lined out the door but they served us anyway. The staff 100% are great at their jobs!! The toilet seats pretty hilarious
