Had a great time at Misi last night. Ricotta crostini was served with nectarine; very good, still was nicely savory despite being fruit-forward. We also had the artichoke hearts; the mint made the dish exceptional. For pasta, we went with the tortelli and the lamb ragu. The tortelli was exceptional but I would try something other than the lamb next time; wasn’t bad, but wasn’t stand out. For dessert, we had strawberry and cream gelato and double chocolate gelato, both were great but the strawberry and cream was the better.
Thanks for the great night, Misi team!
I would definitely come back here. Very good pasta and antipasti, it was really hard to narrow down our order. Portions were larger than expected. The whipped ricotta was delicious but a lot of bread. Spinach and mascarpone tortelli with brown butter was light and tasty. Asparagus with pecorino and guanciale was also very good and the caramelle was also something I’d get again.
First time at Misi and couldn't have asked for more. Both the appetizers and pastas were excellent - had a hard time choosing my favorites. For our first course we had grilled artichokes, white asparagus, and peppers with ricotta toast. All were simply prepared but seasonal and delicious. Pastas included spinach tortelli (very rich but tasty), fettuccine (perfection), bucatini with njuda (my favorite of the bunch), and gnocchi with sausage (meaty, fennel-y, and oh so satisfying). All the pastas were different but equally divine. Cocktails and gelato were great too. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top quality Italian pastas and appetizers that are seasonal, fresh, and simply prepared but deeply comforting.
Enjoyed the pasta here more than at Lilia and want to return to try more. The fettuccini was outstanding. The ricotta toast is so good but almost too much richness before pasta courses, I would probably skip that next time. Glad I tried it, and the mushrooms were a great counter. Also want to get into more of their vegetables, they do them so well here. Loved the mushrooms and the artichokes. Don’t skip the gelato, it’s a must order!
This place serves delicious Italian food. Menu is limited and exclusive. We had trumpet mushrooms, spinach tortellini and horseradish pasta. Every item was delicious. Plus the complimentary whipped ricotta toast was so good. They make fresh gelato. We had the olive oil gelato which had amazing flavor. We were seated at the counter which had the extra perk of getting to see awesome food being made live.
