First visit here for all three of us. We had the chefs choice. You advise them of alergies and chef sends out what she wants. No alergies here and we eat everthing, so very good value for us. The oysters were so fresh they tasted of the sea. The artichoke was amazing, looked like a flower. Then dish after dish of very good food indeed. Top class ingredients and it showed. Finally 3 puddings . We were with a knowledgeable wine man, doing his exams, so I did not look at the wine list but what we did have ranged from Fiano to Tokay.
Service was friendly and professional. We really enjoyed the evening, the food was very good and very good value too. We will return.
Cool décor, nice service, and all the food was delicious and on point. We really had a great time there! Highly recommend it for a casual cocktail or date night
We had the most wonderful Sunday lunch at Ombra. From the first snack through to dessert, every dish was authentic, beautifully prepared, and bursting with flavour — true Italian cooking at its best. The girolle mushroom tagliolini was delicate and full of depth, the monkfish main was perfectly cooked and full of flavour, and the apricot, mint and yoghurt dessert was a refreshing finish. Compliments to Chef Alessandro, whose skill and passion really shone through in every plate.
For drinks, we trusted our waiter Red, who paired each dish with the perfect wine recommendation. Each glass lifted the food even further, and it made the whole meal feel carefully curated.
We enjoyed it all out on the sunny terrace, where the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere made it a truly memorable family lunch. Ombra delivered on every level — excellent food, thoughtful service, and a beautiful setting. We’ll definitely be back!
I took my parents here for lunch , it was their first time and only my second time. Absolutely impeccable! We had the chef’s menu for 3 with wine pairing. Big shoutout to Phil (certified sommelier) for perfectly pairing every unique dish.
**Oysters with blood orange and olive oil
**Olive oil, lemon mussels with fennel
**Grilled White asparagus with sardines
**Gnocco fritto (house staple!)
**Lamb’s heart on whipped feta (!!)
**Fresh pasta (made daily on-site) with beef shin ragù
**Basil & raspberry cake (mind-blowing flavourrrr)
**Tiramisu (rightly praised as London’s best. My mum demolished it solo!)
The team at Ombra just get it- full of heart, bold flavours, and warming energy.
P.s.: the chefs menu changes with season as they source the freshest ingredients! worth going back!
Great vibe. We sat on the sun-dappled terrace outside, drank campari + limoncello spritz, and had a range of tasty plates, some banging pasta, then a huge portion of tiramisu. The staff were lovely, would definitely recommend.
