We've been having lunch here for the past 15 years and it's always, *always* phenomenal, from the greeting at the door through to dessert and everything in-between. This time I had the onion soup gratinée for the first time, even though it's a menu staple. Rich, complex layers of flavor, with so much luscious melted cheese. The calamari was a definite surprise, creamy and unctuous and absolutely delectable. My husband had the salmon special, perfectly grilled with grapes, cherry tomatoes, asparagus, and fingerling potatoes. It disappeared quickly. I totally forgot to take a photo of my chocolate mousse dessert topped with whipped cream and my husband's cheesecake. Again, disappeared swiftly. Our server was, as is usual here, friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu, but she was above and beyond and simply a delight - we could be BFFs if we had the time to chat. She was so much fun and she worked that room with precision and grace. We live on the East Coast and we're only here one week (or less) each year, but we *always* have lunch here at some point - it's non-negotiable. Definitely make a reservation as the restaurant is tiny and it's very popular. People line up 20 minutes ahead of opening to grab one of the window seats with the fabulous views. Very reminiscent of European restaurants with a carefully curated menu and impeccable food. Absolutely recommended 100%!
I loved Place Pigalle so much the first time I stumbled upon it that I had to come back a few days later with my cousins, and the second visit was just as lovely. Not only did the staff remember me, they even remembered my orange allergy from my first visit, which was such a thoughtful and impressive touch.
One of my cousins has celiac disease, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating, making sure she had options she could safely enjoy without ever making it feel like an inconvenience.
The atmosphere is intimate, charming, and tucked away from the bustle of Pike Place, and the food and drinks were wonderful both times. But what really makes Place Pigalle special is the hospitality. Alex and Tina were both so lovely and made us feel genuinely cared for. Being remembered and having little details like allergies remembered too made the experience feel incredibly personal.
Such a special little spot and easily one of my favorite finds in Seattle. 🤍

Gorgeous 😍 we had the salmon and the halibut and the Creme Brulee for dessert. The dishes were perfectly portioned and oh so yummy. The service was outstanding. There is a small cute little patio and inside seating. It's a very nice date night spot. Tables are very small as is the restaurant itself. It's hidden inside the Pile Place Market.
Find the Pike Place Fish Market (the guys who throw fish). This is your main landmark.🔽 2. Stand facing the fish counter. You should see the big “Pike Place Fish Co.” sign.↙️ 3. Look to your LEFT for a small hallway/alley.It’s narrow and looks almost like you’re going “behind” the fish stand.🪜 4. Walk down that little passage. You’ll see a sign for Place Pigalle as you go down a short ramp/stairs.🍷 5. The restaurant is at the end overlooking the water. It’s small, cozy, and has a great view.

I assumed because this place is at the fish market it would be a tourist trap, but I was wrong! It is an absolute gem, and the staff are a delight.
I came here solo on a work trip and first time in Seattle. Kaiti was my server and was so helpful with my questions about the local seafood. Also, she sat me next to window with a to die for view.
I had the oysters, crab cakes, and Belgian chocolate pot de creme. I literally never wanted the experience to end. The crab cakes were the best I have ever had. Definitely check this place out!

Fantastic experience. We started with the liver paté and the clam chowder. The pate was ok, not very creamy. The bread was good and the accompanying apple, mustard and greens paired really well. The chowder was surprisingly light, we were expecting a creamier soup, but it was very flavorful nonetheless. The main courses were both outstanding. The braised short ribs were super tender and the sauce was extremely deep and flavorful. The duck breast with the jam sauce was a fantastic combination. The Champs-Elysees cocktail was quite nice, much like the pot de creme dessert.
The service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We spent $218.99 after tax before tip for two. Bear in mind they discretely add a 5% service charge to your bill.
