Amazing Food, Views & Service!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Portland City Grill! We had window seating which was a wait but not too long, which made the evening even more special. The views of Portland were beautiful, and it was such a great atmosphere for a memorable dinner.
For dinner, we ordered the 18 oz. Ribeye with Yukon mashed potatoes and green beans, and the short ribs with Yukon mashed potatoes and asparagus. Everything was delicious! The Ribeye was cooked beautifully medium rare and full of flavor, while the short ribs were incredibly tender and flavorful. The Yukon mashed potatoes were the perfect accompaniment, and the vegetables were cooked just right. There is a special request section when making reservations, and I asked for a plastic fork, when the server came to the table he had it in hand and I didn't have to reask.
The drinks were also a highlight. The Dragon Fizz was fun and refreshing, and the Lychee Lime Soda was absolutely delicious and a perfect choice with dinner.
We couldn’t leave without dessert! The butterscotch bread pudding was the perfect way to finish the meal—warm, decadent, and absolutely delicious.
Between the fantastic food, beautiful window view, drinks, dessert, and overall atmosphere, Portland City Grill made our evening one to remember. Definitely a great date night!
We had a wonderful dining experience at Portland City Grill on the 30th floor, with panoramic views along the Willamette River. On a rainy day, the lobster bisque and clam chowder were absolutely perfect - warm, comforting and full of flavor.
The crispy rice with miso-glazed sea bass added a delightful texture to the appetizer, while the seafood trio was seasoned perfectly. Dessert was the perfect finishing touch: pudding à la mode completed the meal beautifully.
Great food, stunning views, and a memorable atmosphere.

We don't eat out very often, but decided to celebrate our anniversary here. We order from a 3 course preset menu to keep costs down.
Of course the view is amazing! The food was also excellent. We both had small creme burlees and they were outstanding! The service may have been affected by the fact that our waiter was in training. It felt like it was his first day on the job AND he'd never waited tables before.
The restaurant validated our parking ticket, but we were still charged $8 for parking when we left.
Overall, we are glad we splurged. We will come back because it was just a nice overall evening.
