Additional Details
The venue is housed in a historic building dating back to 1906. It also includes 'Show Bar' and 'Martha's' as part of its offerings.
The rooftop is typically open seasonally, from April through October, and hours vary. It's best to check their website for specific operating hours and event schedules. Evenings and weekends are likely to be busiest due to live music performances.
I think this venue is so good when you pick a good seat. Front row balcony has good acoustics and non obstructed view. Floor seat are good but being a small venue they go fast. Can I talk about the views from the rooftop bar? Check it out and they run a good artist list in this unique venue .
Our family had a great experience last night seeing a show. The acoustics in the auditorium or phenomenal! What really blew us away with the hospitality of the staff at Revolution Hall. The security and event team were warm and welcoming not what you typically expect.
And the folks at Showbar went out of their way to ensure that my husband had what he needed with his dietary restrictions!

Saw the comedy show Whose Live Anyway? with many of the people from the TV show Whose Line is it Anyway? including Ryan Stiles, Greg Proops, and Jeff Davis. The venue is an old high school auditorium that was upgraded. Just a few hundred seats. Beautiful and modern theater. Our seats were toward the back of the main floor, there's really not a bad seat with full visibility from everywhere. We had a great time at the show and laughed almost the entire time.
Since the venue is an old high school, you can wander and find all sorts of things in the building besides the auditorium. Theres a restaurant and 2 bars on the first floor, and I heard there is a rooftop bar or restaurant as well. The grounds have become a dog park too, so you can grab something to eat inside and take it to the picnic tables outside to watch dogs while you eat.
I'll definitely be watching for more shows here.

I had my first ever visit to Revolution Hall last night for the Pub Choir show, and I just wanted to say how appreciative I was of the ADA friendliness of this venue. I had reached out via email ahead of time to get details just in case, and it all worked out great. One of the hardest parts of going to shows in Portland is the parking situation, and the fact that there is an entire lot exclusively dedicated to ADA parking was amazing. The staff actually let me store my wheelchair at the box office during the show so that I could sit in the balcony. The aisles between seats were surprisingly wide so it was easy to traverse with my cane. Just a really great experience all around, especially as someone who has to consider logistics when going to shows.
