I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay at The LINE Hotel in Washington, DC. Traveling with two young children (2 month and 11 month ) can be challenging, but the entire team made our family feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived.
What truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding service from the manager, Charlene. We only called to ask for a bed for one of our children, but instead of simply sending it to our room, Charlene personally came by to make sure my family and I were comfortable and had everything we needed. That level of care and attention is incredibly rare.
She didn’t just go the extra mile !!!!! she went far above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine concern for our family’s comfort made us feel valued and at home.
The hospitality at The LINE Hotel exceeded every expectation. If you’re looking for a hotel that truly cares about its guests, especially families with children, I wholeheartedly recommend staying here. Thank you, Charlene, and the entire team, for making our visit so memorable. We look forward to coming back!
Amazing event space! There are so many rooms throughout the hotel to hold events, even on the basement level. There's a room for anything, all with different yet cohesive aesthetics. There is even a spacious ballroom beneath the main lobby with private restrooms on the same floor. The staff are also so kind and very willing to answer questions. Perfect venue all around!!

Our stay at The LINE Hotel was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. What truly made the experience exceptional was the warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality of the staff. A special thank you to Sandra and Shelly, who both went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, happy, and felt genuinely welcomed throughout our stay.
Sandra was the first person to greet us, and from the moment we arrived, she made us feel special. Her warmth and attentiveness immediately set the tone for what would be an unforgettable visit. Shelly was equally amazing, offering thoughtful restaurant recommendations that were spot-on and helped make our celebration even more memorable.
We were fortunate to stay in a beautiful corner king room with stunning views of both the Capitol and the Washington Monument, which provided the perfect backdrop for the special occasion we were celebrating. The room itself was bright, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. I especially loved the eclectic décor and artwork, which gave the space so much character and charm. It felt thoughtfully designed and refreshingly different from the typical cookie-cutter hotel room.
The little details made all the difference. The shower products were generously sized, the minibar was stocked with delicious drinks and snacks, and we were delighted to find two complimentary bottles of San Pellegrino and a box of delicious macarons waiting for us. These thoughtful touches made the experience feel even more special.
Breakfast at the restaurant was also excellent. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, making it the perfect way to start the day.
The LINE Hotel combines beautiful accommodations, outstanding service, and thoughtful hospitality in a way that feels effortless. It is rare to find a hotel that gets so many things right, but this one certainly does. We left feeling cared for, appreciated, and already looking forward to the next visit.

Really subpar experience for a so-called 5 star hotel. I called 2 days in advance to inform them I’d be arriving on an early flight & they said “Ok! no problem.” When I arrived not only did the front desk tell me there would be an early check-in fee of $75, but that my room was downgraded from a king to queen suite because no king was available. She also said they’d wave the fee only for me to find they charged it anyway. The front desk lady (bald, black woman) was incredibly dry & unwelcoming compared to greeting the white people behind me— and did not say good morning when I arrived or ask me if I needed anything and when I left did not ask me about my stay.
The room— design was ok but it was quite dark. There is no microwave or hot kettle and the fridge is only for the mini bar. There is no Netflix or streaming, only classic TV. Water pressure in the shower was way too high felt like I was being water boarded and there are no vanity kits. Front desk does not answer the phone.
Tanae who worked at the front desk was the redeeming person of the whole trip, incredibly kind and helpful or else I’d give service 1 star.
Would not stay here again.

I had a really great stay at The Line Hotel in DC. The building itself is super cool. It used to be a historic church, and they’ve done an amazing job keeping that character while making everything feel modern and comfortable. The location in Adams Morgan is a big plus. There’s always something going on, and you’re surrounded by great food, music, and energy. The rooms were surprisingly spacious, especially for DC, with lots of light and a really relaxed vibe. It actually felt like a place you could unwind, not just crash for the night. What stood out the most, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly and helpful without being over the top, which made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend staying here. No hesitation at all.
