This is a great place to eat, drink, and chill, and the service staff is excellent. They team serve, so you never want for anything. I’d like to call out both Nate and Miles for going the extra “mile” for us on our last visit. If you come before 5pm then you can get glasses of wine, cocktails, and beer pitchers for $6. For dessert, they offer a selection of treats from Churn next door (great hand made ice cream and baked treats). They have a single page menu and excel at each of the items we have tried. The restaurant isn’t large, but they have a good sized, east-side, covered patio. Noise level isn’t bad. We usually always get their Cheddar Fondue, which comes with pretzel bread, apples, and sausage. It is most excellent. We have also had their Picnic Kebabs and like them all, but our favorite is the farm vegetables. This visit, we tried their Fish-n-Chips and their Porkwich with the sweet potato fries. The fish had a flavorful beer batter that wasn’t greasy, and the fish was perfectly flakey. The sandwich had a mustard based barbecue sauce, which was unusual for us, but we really enjoyed the sandwich. Both their regular fries and Sweet potato fries were crisp on the outside and done on the inside. As usual, it was a great meal! highly recommend!

Brought my dog here and so glad I did. Every worker there was so friendly! They have an amazing patio for my dog and I to enjoy with cooling fans and tons of shade. I ordered the potato chip pulled pork nachos as a meal and they were delicious! The recommended blackberry lemonade went perfectly with it. So refreshing! Highly recommend checking this place out, especially if you have a dog!

The Windsor has one of the best neighborhood patio atmospheres in Phoenix. The indoor bar feels warm and classic with dark millwork, plaid stools, exposed wood ceilings, and great natural light, while the outdoor patio stays surprisingly comfortable even in warmer weather thanks to the misting system and shaded seating areas. The space strikes a balance between relaxed 😎 and elevated without feeling overly trendy. It’s equally good for brunch, cocktails 🍸🍹, or lingering with friends for a few hours. Service has always felt welcoming and easygoing, and the overall energy is lively without being chaotic. Definitely one of the better Central Avenue spots if you enjoy good design, a comfortable patio, and a true neighborhood feel.

This was one of those experiences where, as you leave, as you drive home, and after you get home, you go “that was truly awesome, across the board! I can’t wait to go back.” *Service - literally couldn’t have been better. We were greeted by Lola who was super friendly, understanding about our surprise at a 30 minute wait at 5pm on a Wednesday, helpful, kind and sincere. She was super approachable and genuine. A reservation holder didn’t show up and we were seated after only about 10 minutes at a table on the patio. Our server was Naphia. She was **the most genuinely happy, friendly, kind, thoughtful, easy going, sincere person you could ever meet**. She’s been there 5 years for a reason, she loves it, it absolutely shows, and she’s made for this job, she’s sooo cool. It felt like we were being taken care of by a close friend, I couldn’t have asked for more and genuinely hope to see her again on our next visit. Other servers stopped at the table to check in or deliver something and everyone had the same relaxed, genuine, real, friendly vibe. *Food - every single bite and drink was fantastic, seriously, this is super rare and unusual. I ordered the Cocktail #17, cucumber, it was fresh and yummy. But the cold, rich, thick, smooth, Wren House Black Caddis Porter beer on tap was *insanely good*! The food, oh man, the food! We ordered the Backyard Burger Windsor Style with a combo of sweet potato and regular fries. Insane! The burger was thick, super juicy, cooked perfectly medium rare as ordered, covered in thick creamy sharp cheddar and garlic aioli, caramelized onion on a light and buttered brioche bun. One of the best, juiciest, delicious burgers I’ve ever had. The fries were steamy, moist inside, crunchy outside, salty and perfect. The other burger was, hard to believe, just as spectacular, or more! Was described to us as an in n’ out burger on steroids. True if the steroids were made of perfection juice x1,000. This double smash burger was so juicy it runs down your hands, cheese bubbling and oozing out, toppings and sauce dripping in a heavenly waterfall of deliciousness. My mouth is literally watering now just thinking about it. My side, called Jo’s Church Potatoes, was one of the best potato, cream and cheese dishes I’ve ever eaten, creamy, crunchy bread crumbs, bubbling, thick, rich, truly amazing. Get these, seriously, get them. This was one of the happiest meals I’ve had in a long time, and I’m not easily impressed. You won’t find burgers like these anywhere else. Fantastic! *Ambience - I hear people talk about “the vibe” at certain places. Yea, sometimes I get it, sometimes not. But the “vibe” here is unmistakable, though maybe not easy for me to describe. Here’s my best shot at describing the almost tangible vibe here at Windsor and Churn, it’s truly comfortable, easy, relaxed, friendly, warm and genuine, feels “natural” and “welcoming” to everyone, the courtyard feels like you’re in a comfortable, natural park surrounded (hugged) by green plants, like a desert-tropical feel, not rushed, just like an easy, friendly neighborhood hang out. It’s awesome, just feels natural. *Value - this is a great value. Is it “cheap”, no. But it’s not expensive, it’s balanced well. If you can make the happy hour that goes until 5pm every day, the drink specials can’t be beat. Seriously, $14 cocktails are $6,…and pitchers of draft beer, yea *pitchers* are also $6. On Wednesday, you’d be crazy to miss the $20 burger (pick whichever you want!), side (OMG the church potatoes!), and beer (again, choose any draft you want). This is the best deal in the valley for incredibly fantastic food, hands down. Overall, I wish I could rate this restaurant higher than 5 stars. I’ve only said that one other time, back in the day about Kai, but this experience absolutely deserves the same. The service could not have been better, the food and drinks were beyond stellar, and the atmosphere couldn’t be more genuinely comfortable and relaxed. I loved everything about this experience. We’ll be back, regularly. Highly, highly recommend.

If you are looking for a hot spot that has a laid back decor, awesome staff with amazing food and drinks, this is your spot! Me and my great friend shared fish and chips that were divine with crispy fish and perfectly done fries. Chips and deviled egg dip that was delicious with crispy chips! Loaded chips that had cheese, pulled pork and amazing spice from the ancho chiles. The Pork sandwich on the burger menu was awesomely seasoned and a bit smokey. But the surprise was the the beautifully crafted Mac and cheese with a seasoned topp that was simply mouthwatering amazing 😍 I will definitely be going back for more.
