Just had my second visit to Massilia, and it was just as satisfying as the first. It is easy to see why this spot has gained such a strong reputation—I can confidently say they serve some of the best pasta and pizza in Jakarta right now. The overall quality and execution of the food have been highly consistent both times I have been here.
The pasta dishes we ordered were the main highlights of the meal. The fettuccine truffle cream was delightfully rich, delivering a fantastic truffle flavor that was present but not overpowering. The tagliatelle ragu was equally excellent; you can immediately tell they are using high-quality meat and proper cheese, which makes the dish incredibly comforting and well-balanced.
We finished the meal with the cannoli and tiramisu. Both were beautifully presented and served as the perfect, sweet closing to a heavy Italian meal. The prices are justified by the quality of the ingredients you get, and the overall service is solid. I will definitely be coming back again to try some of the other dishes on their menu.

First off, carbonara here uses milk. So it's not exactly an authentic Italian carbonara, and that kinda sets the expectation with the rest of the food. It's not bad at all - the carbonara itself is still savory though it lacks the certain dash of saltiness and fat from the bacon and pecorino - but you really need to set the expectations.
I'm quite fond of the black tonarelli as it dips itself into a musky squid ink taste without overdoing the palate. The agnolotti al brasato is very localized: it tastes more like semur than a marinaded wine, but strangely enough it makes the dish memorable.
Tonnata pizza here is a surprise because the creamy cheese blends very well with the tuna. It's certainly my favorite. The burrata salad is also very creamy and watery and very generous in terms of size. That's a good one too.
The tiramisu milkshake kinda leaves more to be desired. Everything else is good enough. Cannoli is fine though it's a bit too sweet for my taste.
Server's product knowledge can be improved a little bit as he kinda struggled when I asked for the taste/ingredient of several dishes, particularly the agnolotti and carbonara. But he is still very pleasant and they make the orders quite fast.
Both foods and services are excellent. Every pasta has its own character, Italian taste, delicious. Their tiramisu is the best in town. They served halal tiramisu as well. Their service is exceptional; very kind, the most friendly restaurant’s staffs, and very helpful. Definitely will come back and would recommend to everyone.
This was my first time dining at this restaurant, and overall, it was actually a very pleasant experience. When it comes to the food, I was truly satisfied. Almost every menu item I tried had great flavor, the seasoning was well-balanced, the presentation was appealing, and the ingredients tasted fresh. From the main courses to the drinks, everything seemed to be prepared with care and attention to quality. I can honestly say this is one of those restaurants that makes you want to come back again because of the food.
Besides the food, the thing I appreciated the most was the service from the staff. All of the employees were very friendly, polite, attentive, and always served customers with a smile. When we arrived, we were welcomed warmly, and throughout the meal the staff checked on us several times to make sure everything was okay and to ask if we needed anything. That kind of hospitality really makes customers feel comfortable and valued. It is quite rare to find service this friendly, so it became a huge plus point for the restaurant.
However, there was one thing that slightly reduced the comfort of our dining experience, which was the air conditioning inside the restaurant. The room felt quite hot and a bit stuffy, especially once the restaurant became crowded. Since many of the dishes are best enjoyed while still hot, the warm room temperature made the dining experience a little less comfortable and made us unable to stay for too long.
Personally, I would still recommend this restaurant because the quality of the food and the service are both truly excellent. I just hope the management can improve or add more air conditioning in the future so customers can enjoy their meals more comfortably. If the AC issue is fixed, I believe this restaurant could easily become a favorite spot for many people.
Heard many good reviews about the pizza here because they use Fior di Latte mozzarella. Finally got to try it and yummm it didn’t disappoint! The pizza soft and creamy. The crust crispy and smoky. Just 10/10! Tried the lasagna too. Unfortunately too much black pepper for my toddler likings, however super delicious with the light bechamel sauce. Tiramisu and cannoli were refreshing closing to the whole meal. Recommended. But do come early during weekday lunch as it gets really busy very quick.
