A Refined Afternoon Tea in a Beautiful Setting
Having already experienced Cédric Grolet in Paris and London, I was excited to visit Cédric Grolet Singapore for the first time and it certainly did not disappoint.
The setting is elegant and contemporary, with a bright, refined atmosphere that perfectly complements the precision and artistry of the pastries. It feels both luxurious and relaxed, making it an ideal place to enjoy a leisurely afternoon tea.
I opted for the afternoon tea with a glass of rosé champagne. The savoury sandwiches were excellent, delicate and well balanced. The miniature signature cakes were simply outstanding, beautifully crafted and full of flavour. The cookies, choux, and other pastries were equally impressive, showcasing the creativity and technical mastery Grolet is known for.
A truly indulgent experience in a stylish setting, executed to perfection.
Definitely one to be repeated.
If you're a croissant lover, you have to try this at least once! The croissant is rich and buttery, with a soft, airy interior and a perfectly flaky, crispy exterior. The buttery flavour is absolutely delicious, and my son especially loved it.
We've tried several of their other bakes, but the croissant is still our favourite by far. It's the one we keep coming back for every visit.
It's not the cheapest croissant, but it's definitely worth trying at least once. Just be sure to come early—they're usually sold out by the afternoon!

A lovely and fascinating time for our senses at this gorgeous pastry place…
We can see that there is good effort to maximize the fruit's expression and henceforth it uses less sugar, which explains why the desserts taste bright, clean, and elegant.
The pastries are truly art-like in beauty but crafted to be consumed, not just admired, which gives the brand strong appeal among dessert enthusiasts and luxury diners like me.
The croissants and filled viennoiseries are particularly attractive because they offer classic French pastry texture with a refined finish.
Cedric Grolet serves desserts that resemble sculptures, taste like modern French patisserie, and exude luxury from the first look to the last bite, so cute really!
The sandwiches comprising Smoked Salmon, Cucumber cream cheese and Ham comté offer a savoury punch before our indulgment in their signatures, including the mango (love this!), strawberry, yellow peach (awesome), blueberry cheesecake flower (my weakness and a delight to see this), raspberry vanilla icecream (what brilliance!), chocolate marble cake, together with scone and chouquette with lovely dips.
We tried the Iced Coco Punch and the coconut was relised deep down as a couplet flavour and also an Iced Latte, a choice of 2 drinks for each set!
We had the $98 set. So instagrammable!
Overall rating 9/10

We wanted to visit this café because of the reputation of the very talented pastry chef — and we were not disappointed.
We tried two of the individual desserts and both were excellent. The iced lemon tea was also very refreshing, and the cappuccino with oat milk was delicious.
The atmosphere is great, the staff are friendly, and the whole place has a really nice vibe.
It’s true that it’s not cheap, but the quality makes it worth it. We would definitely recommend it and will happily come back again.

Finally got to try their signature desserts.
The cakes are beautifully made and look absolutely adorable, but personally I found them a little too sweet for my liking. The texture was nice and creamy, yet the overall taste didn’t really give me that wow factor. I think it really depends on whether you enjoy very sweet desserts.
The cookie was better — rich, soft and enjoyable, although still on the sweeter side.
Overall, lovely presentation and fun to try once, but if you don’t have a huge sweet tooth, it might feel a bit overwhelming
