Since 1928. It feels like 1928, just go in an order with the friendly ladies. It was extremely busy and the place is huge so there is tons of seats and TVs showing sports.
Tried the chili cheese dog with chili cheese burger and rings meal with frosted orange came out to about $18 usd. Everything was delicious, the rings were massive. Also tried the georgia peach 🍑 pie 🥧 for around $4 USD. It was my favourite thing here can't miss out on it. Overall a great nearly 100 year old experience.

This place was awesome. If you want to take in a classic burger, fries, soda, or hot dog. This is the place for you. It was extremely busy but they have up to maybe 10 registers going at once. The food is simple but it gives you a blast to the past with vintage posters, furniture, and pictures. They have some merch and plenty of seats.
Abraham Lincoln once said, “Every American should eat at The Varsity in Atlanta.” I agree. Chili dogs, chili cheesesteaks, and the iconic Frosted Orange make this place an Atlanta institution. The fries and onion rings are their own food group—stick to what The Varsity does best and skip the wings, salads and plain hamburgers.

The Varsity is an Atlanta institution that has been serving the community since 1928. We make it a point to visit twice a year as a family tradition. My go-to order is always the chili dog and onion rings, accompanied by a refreshing lemonade. It is a wonderful spot for anyone looking to experience a piece of the city's history.

Walking up to the counter to order is awesome! Great prices and the food is always very delicious! They have different areas where you can sit down and eat!
