Additional Details
DakaDaka is situated on Heddon Street in the West End, a prominent restaurant road in London. The location previously housed the restaurant Fallow.
The restaurant is described as 'buzzing with people' and having a 'rowdy paean' atmosphere, suggesting it is particularly lively during peak dining hours, especially in the evenings.
The food was excellent and service too. The creativity of the chef to produce food that looked amazing, attention to detail. He took us on a wonderful experience of textures and flavours that were truly unique and delicious.I would highly recommend the Soko crispy oyster mushrooms., the kurdnis salati grape salad. The drinks were great too. Try the Pomegranate Negroni.
Had a great experience at DakaDaka.
The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, especially in the evening with the candlelit setting. It was much busier than I expected, which is always a good sign.
The highlight for me was definitely the dumplings. They reminded me a little of Chinese soup dumplings, but with a thicker, chewier skin and plenty of flavourful broth inside.
Another standout dish was the garlic roast chicken. The meat was incredibly tender and juicy, easily one of my favourites of the night.
We also tried some Georgian orange wine, which paired really well with the food and added something a bit different to the experience.
Friendly service, great food and a unique dining experience. I’d happily come back again.

Absolutely amazing food, the tasting menu was perfect. The staff were so lovely - the head chef and owner really made it, so welcoming and you could see how passionate they were about the food. We sat at the counter and it was brilliant watching everything. Couldn't fault anything. Will absolutely be coming back.

Georgia has been on our travel wish list for a long time, so we were excited to finally experience Georgian cuisine here in London.
This restaurant exceeded every expectation.
Every dish was beautifully prepared, thoughtfully presented, and packed with flavour.
The live grill was a real highlight, and the chicken with garlic sauce was simply outstanding, one of the best dishes we’ve had in a long time.
What made the experience even more special was the incredible attention to detail. The head chef personally took the time to explain the ingredients, the preparation, and even some of the special touches that made each dish stand out. For anyone who truly loves food, this was an absolute delight.
Damien, the general manager, was exceptionally attentive and delivered phenomenal service throughout our visit. We also enjoyed a fantastic wine flight featuring some wonderful Georgian wines that paired perfectly with the food.
From the flavours and presentation to the outstanding service and hospitality, everything was done to an incredibly high standard. We left feeling thoroughly spoiled.
We can’t wait to return.

It was a good meal.
The shkmeruli was my favourite and a must order. Lamb kebabs solid, aubergine was nice, kinkhalis were well made and stuffed with a good portion of filing. The khacaprui was decent but personal preference that I like adjaruli style which this was not sadly.
Dessert was the only let down, the napoleon medoki was not what I expected. With Mille-feuille you think flaky multi layers, this was more like a cracker. As a stand alone dessert, sure it was fine because it’s sweet but didn’t match the standards of all other dishes.
Good selection of Georgian wine.
