Decent breakfast spot with buffet option
We stopped here for breakfast, they offer both menu items and a buffet. The food was okay overall; nothing special but it did the job. The buffet had a fair selection and everything was served hot.
Service was friendly and the place had a classic small-town diner vibe. It could use a bit more flavor or freshness in some dishes, but for the price and convenience, it’s a decent stop if you’re passing through.
My buddy and I came here from a recommendation from someone at the Ferryboat campground. The food was great. I had the hot roast beef sandwich and my friend had the meatloaf. Both were very good. I got the coconut cream pie and my friend got the tapioca for desert. Boy, we're they great! The staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!
This adorable old-style diner is full of charm and comfort. It has that small-town feel with warm, friendly service that makes you feel like you’re walking into grandma’s kitchen for dinner. The menu is full of good old-fashioned comfort food that hits the spot every time. When you walk in, the dessert case immediately catches your eye—you’ll want to try one of everything! There’s even a small gift shop to browse through, which makes the experience extra fun. A true hidden gem!
We stopped mid Sunday morning (10am ish) The staff were very friendly, the restaurant was clean, as was the bathroom. My husband got a waffle and scrambled eggs. I got the veggie omlette w/ home fries and toast. Both were delicious. Our waitress was phenomenal! The longer that we were there the busier they got. All patrons seemed happy and very well attended to. We gave stopped her several times and will co ti ue to go back.
Been here twice so far and the food was amazing, I can see why this restaurant has been open for 75 years! Everyone that I bring along always raves about their food. You get a lot for what you pay for and you can tell that these are fresh homemade meals. Cozy atmosphere as well. Me, personally, I loved their chicken and waffles. Can't wait to try their breakfast next.
