The Ned

Has a lovely aesthetic and atmosphere. Lots of seating with unique long communal counters as well regular tables. Ordered the Ahi Tuna and Salmon Poke Bowls which was lovely, but where it shines is the presentation. They really do make the most beautiful poke bowls, even with edible flowers. The price is reasonable and in line with what you'd expect to pay in Central London.

I enjoyed two hours of unlimited brunch with add on of cocktails which were all delicious. The unlimited starters were fresh and tasty - especially the sushi platter, also really good portions (I was on a a table of 6). Amazingly professional staff, very helpful and fast. Great value for money!

Right. The food is spectacular. If you can, try and sit at the bar where amazing Fatou is a waitress. She made genuinely stonkingly good recommendations that were perfect in terms of what we were looking for at lunch. She also looked after us so well. Wagyu gyoza (prepare to fight whoever you’re with for them), snow crab (my wife loved), JFC (my fave, get the spicy version). The chocolate and citrus mizumono dessert is also very special. My Mrs isn’t bothered about anything chocolate-y but thought it was great. I’m a choco-holic and agreed. PS - Electric Diner (just across the room) is great too. Chicken Waffles in on Friday ace. PPS - Stick around and go to the main Ned bar. They play really great live music in the evenings, on the stage (see pics).

Portions are generous enough to be filling, yet light enough to avoid the typical “post-lunch slowdown.” Importantly, Kaia offers a very good value for money, especially considering its prime location and prestigious setting. Prices remain reasonable for the City, making it a smart alternative to more expensive sit-down restaurants or uninspiring takeaway options nearby. In summary: Kaia is an excellent idea for a quick lunch in the City — a tasty pan-Asian experience with a strong quality-to-price ratio. It may not aim for haute cuisine, but it delivers exactly what it promises: fresh food, efficient service, and a stylish yet relaxed environment, ideal for both business lunches and casual midweek dining
