⸻ We spent £180 for a couple, and it was money very well spent. The entire experience at The Ivy Chelsea was genuinely delightful from start to finish. The food was excellent, beautifully presented and full of flavour, and the atmosphere was elevated by the restaurant’s stunning décor — elegant, stylish, and incredibly inviting. The service truly stood out. A special mention to Nadia and Fabianj, who were both exceptional: warm, attentive, and professional, making us feel completely at ease and very well looked after throughout the evening. We also enjoyed a bottle of Côte du Rhône “Le Moustache” 2022, which was bold yet elegant, perfectly balanced, and an ideal complement to the meal. Overall, a very pleasant and memorable experience. Exceptional food, wonderful staff, beautiful surroundings, and great value for the quality delivered. We’ll definitely be returning.

What a surprise We were looking for a restaurant with outdoor space and even though we were hesitant about restaurant chains as Ivy has extensive outlets in UK and concern for ability to provide quality for such high turnovers we were blown away by this particular branch with its outstanding professional engaging and efficient service amazing competitively priced menus where quality and creativity was not compromised.It was Sunday lunch and it was buzzing with energy and atmosphere and clients respectfully dressed There were so many different sections to the restaurant and we chose outdoor garden area which was verdant with real plants and flowers. The first thing you noticed always a telltale sign in spite of large numbers dining we were provided with proper and large napkins. There was a limited promotion £19.95 two course menu and wine by the bottle at half price - unbelievable deal The dishes were chose were excellent and in addition we had nibbles to start with julienne (thin strips) courgette tempura very generous in portion The pavlova with Chantilly cream and strawberries had the ingredients well balanced.The meringue was crispy but soft enough inside - the perfect way We had been informed that it was one promotion or the other prior to booking so we took just a 250 ml carafe but in fact it was incorrect.The assistant manager Leo was delightful and insisted we have the wine deal and not with our prompting and removed the carafe cost from our bill - this says a lot about the restaurant and its strategic thinking putting customers first.Our member of staff assigned to our table was the charismatic Ray - so engaging and attentive We cannot believe we have lived in this borough for 30 years and have only discovered this hidden gem - you have no idea from the outside that this restaurant opens up at the back into a garden paradise We will be back

We visited as a group of six during the Chelsea Flower Show to celebrate a friend’s birthday. I often visit different branches of The Ivy, but this was by far the best experience I’ve had — both the food and the atmosphere were exceptional. Although it was an especially busy period because of the Flower Show, "Tanbir" made our lunch truly enjoyable. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional throughout. We were all on a tight schedule with plans afterward, and Tanbir helped us calmly and thoughtfully from start to finish. A big thank you again to him for making the day so special.

Took my mother, elderly uncle and aunt to celebrate my mother’s 75th birthday. We went for lunch and booked the 2 course offer for £19.17, which was amazing value for money. We ordered some starters and sides off the main menu also as we love their truffle arancini balls and courgette fries I’ve been to the various Ivy branches over the years so am familiar with their dishes and service. I must say however, that I do feel the quality of the food is not the same. The dishes tasted quite standard really and didn’t seem to have that deliciousness as they used to have. I had the French onion soup and the pan fried sea bream which were both quite standard. The others had the truffle linguine and shepherds pie which they said they enjoyed. As a venue, the Chelsea Garden branch is beautiful and my 70 year old plus guests all loved the atmosphere and decor. The comfortable seating i.e the sofas were also a great hit with my elderly guests. Service was great, our waiter was attentive and friendly and he went out of his way to make my mother feel special. But, we had to ask for hot water several times and also had to have our plates changed as they were dirty. The restaurant was very busy and at full capacity, so I guess that impacted the service. However, the disabled toilet which doubled up baby changing facilities was disgusting and should be checked by management for cleanliness more frequently. Overall, The Ivy does not feel as exclusive as it once did but combined with the venue and atmosphere, still worth a visit. But most importantly my mum and her guests had a great time.
