Absolutely incredible food and service - it was our first time here after many recommendations and definitely won’t be our last! The clam pasta might be one of the best ones I’ve ever had, and my notoriously picky father in law LOVED the whole branzino. I highly recommend Secondo! Sara our waitress provided incredible service, even putting in a pizza despite it technically only being for the bar area.
Definitely would recommend making a reservation, it was packed!
We dined at Secondo for the first time tonight on the recommendation of a Cape May resident. We were seated promptly, and our server, AJ, was at our table within minutes with menus and water. It has been increasingly difficult to find impeccable service anywhere these days, but AJ brought it. He was attentive, offered suggestions and nailed every one.
The bartender made us fantastic cocktails (being a former mixologist, I am very picky). Our food came out to the table at a great pace - the kitchen knows their timing well. They also create delicious dishes that are visually appealing. We thoroughly enjoyed the battered Jersey, cream of crab soup, the pork chop special, and the scallops with goat cheese ravioli. AJ, and the rest of the staff made our night; Secondo is a local gem

We stay at the shore often and are always looking for great food. Secondo was AMAZING!! The outside patio faces the bay and the atmosphere is perfect for a romantic dinner, especially after it is dark. The food was great and service was impeccable. The restaurant is meticulous, including the restrooms, I know that sounds silly but I had to add that!!!! I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for quality all around. My husband had the pork chops and I had the Veal, both hands down great choices.

Absolutely delicious! Everything we ordered was fantastic. My steak was cooked perfectly—tender, flavorful, and one of the best I've had in a long time.
The drinks were just as impressive. They were well-made, tasted great, and paired perfectly with our meal.
From the food to the drinks, everything exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back.

The restaurant offers a lively atmosphere with a live band. The food was tasty and flavorful, though the service could use some improvement. Our orders were served quite slowly, which was somewhat frustrating. Additionally when i discovered hair in our oil and informed the staff, I was disappointed that no apology was offered - only the dish was taken away and replaced. My husband was also very disappointed when the waiter told him that the Sunday dinner was only available on Sundays, yet he saw another table being served that dish. It would have been better if the waiter had simply explained that the dish had sold out
Overall, its good spot for ambiance and food but the service needs to be more attentive
