Food was excellent we had Mussels with Angel Hair in red sauce, spaghetti with crab meat, and the stuffed flounder along with the corn and crab chowder which I recommend. The nice addition of complimentary bread and gravy hit the spot. Service was excellent and even the owner/ Chef took the time to check on us.
Dinner for 4 at 6 pm. Seated within 5 minutes with all hosts and waitress smiling and attentive. Food was ordered from appetizers to main course and recieved in a timed fashion. Steak to seafood to gnocchi cooked and presented the right way. The polenta was with sauce and cheese made old school, Italian soft and delicious nothing pre made. I watched as the owner Stephen came out of the kitchen, talking to his customers asking if the food was enjoyable and this tells me why this resturant is and will continue to be successful. The owner is the chef and the owner cares what he feeds the people who come to him.

Stephen’s is a cozy BYOB Italian and seafood restaurant located just off the boardwalk on Wildwood Avenue. The atmosphere is quaint, modern, and welcoming.
Our server, Faith, was friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our meal. The food was delicious and well-prepared. The portion sizes were adequate and the price was just right.
The owner, Stephen, took time to visit tables and check in with guests, which made the experience feel personal and showed his pride in the restaurant. Overall, a great dining experience we’d gladly recommend.

This restaurant was a great experience from start to finish. The food was well prepared and delicious with prices that were very affordable. The gnocchi was house made and very delicious. The chef came out and spoke to us before leaving to ensure we had a positive experience.

May 8 2026 was our first visit to this restaurant. The food was excellent. There are a lot of good entrees to choose from on the menu. The food is reasonably priced. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier. We will definitely be back on a regular basis. Update: We went back again June 6. Everything was excellent again. One problem. Some idiot brought their dog with them to eat dinner. This was not a service dog. My wife is extremely allergic to dogs. If that idiot was closer to us, we would have had to leave. This is a first class restaurant. They need a no dog policy.
