Always a great time visiting the team at Little Fawn. The attention to detail does not go unnoticed, and you can feel it in every part of the experience. They keep it fun with fresh, well executed flavors, and honestly every dish we ordered just kept getting better. The shareable menu makes it easy to try a little bit of
everything, which is always the move here. The Caesar, skewers, and that cheesecake alone are worth coming back for.
The wine list is super exciting, with a lot of biodynamic, artisan producers that actually bring personality to the lineup, definitely not your average commercial selection.
The atmosphere is lively but still comfortable, making it a great spot whether you are just popping in or planning a full night out. Highly recommend doing yourself a favor and making a reservation, they fill up fast for a reason!
I know a lot of people mourn Switchboard, but I've got to say I like Little Fawn even better. Brunch was superb. I have to shout out the Bloody Mary and the Carajillo for cocktails especially. We had the lemon ricotta pancakes and the steak & eggs—both were exceptional. It's a small space, but it's a really nice vibe (not much different from the Switchboard days, tbh). Service was friendly and totally on top of things too.

Phenomenal food, great atmosphere, great service, the whole package. Went for our anniversary dinner and had an excellent time. It’s on our list to go back!

Best caesar salad I’ve ever had.
Food is tapas style with shareable plates for the table, which I’m typically not a fan of, but Little Fawn changed my mind.
We got the caesar salad, brussel sprouts, and steak frites - all of which were exceptional. Oceanside doesn’t have many great steak spots, so Little Fawn is a great addition to the food scene at a good price to quality ratio. The couple next to us were also saying great things about the burger.
My wife got the olive oil martini and I got the negroni, both were great.
We walked in on an early Friday night, but recommend reservations since it was getting crowded as we were leaving.

We were celebrating an anniversary. Food was great. Servers were wonderful, to a point. The music in the dining area to the right of the entrance was horribly loud. I had to shout my wine order. Not that the staff seemed concerned that I needed another glass. Again food was great but out salad came 4 mins before the wine. Yes, I’m the jerk who times it. I got my entree 6 minutes before the other diner got their meal. Yes, I’m the jerk who times it. IF THAT IS THE WAY YOUR KITCHEN WORKS TELL ME. If you want hip rockin’ vibe, yeah, super place. First date, stay in the room you walk into, that is the room at the front door. We were seated at the room to the right. We chose Little Fawn because Yelp said it was Romantic, we were celebrating an anniversary, no one cared, though we said it several times.
