Nectarine Grove is a casual, 100% gluten-free and dairy-free restaurant with vegan and paleo options. I had the roasted veggie bowl, which was HUGE and absolutely delicious.
There’s a relaxed outdoor patio as well as indoor seating, plus a separate coffee, tea and smoothie bar with some really interesting healthy drink options.
The patio is very pet friendly—I met both a Bengal kitten and a dog hanging out while I was there. 🐾
There was a pretty continuous line to order during my afternoon visit, so it seems to stay busy. Parking is limited immediately in front: I noticed one accessible parking space and one regular space. I found street parking without much trouble in the afternoon, although I could see it being more challenging during busier evening hours. There are also comments suggesting the dirt lot across the road.
A great find in Encinitas, especially if you need gluten-free or dairy-free food but still want plenty of choices. I’d definitely come back. 🍑🌱
If you want clean, healthy food that actually tastes good and looks good.. this is the spot. 100% gluten free kitchen too so you can just order and not overthink it.
Smoothies are the standout. Got the Bluey.. avocado, spirulina, almond butter, veggie protein, pineapple, banana, dates, coconut crème, and your choice of milk. Outstanding
Pizza is really good too. They bake the GF sourdough in house. Got the BBQ chicken.. marinated chicken, grass-fed buffalo mozzarella and fontina, pineapple, red onion, micro cilantro, BBQ drizzle, red sauce. So good
Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Gets busy but the vibes are right. Feel-good food. You just feel good being here

Nectarine Grove has been one of my favorite places in Encinitas for years, but after catering my birthday this weekend, I somehow love them even more. 🤍
Everything was absolutely incredible — fresh, beautiful, thoughtful, and made with so much care. The food not only tasted amazing, but genuinely made the whole gathering feel warm and special. You can feel the intention behind everything they create.
I’m so grateful to have a place like this in North County. If you live in San Diego (or are visiting), Nectarine Grove is truly a gem.

I’m on a two-week journey to find a new place to call home and stumbled upon this incredible spot along the way! I was initially drawn in by the curb appeal, but then completely blown away by the menu. I ordered my first California gluten-free burrito and almost cried happy tears — it was SO good. 🌯🥹 This is absolutely a place I’ll be frequenting often if I end up nearby. I already can’t wait to come back and try everything else on the menu! :)

Absolutely incredible!!! I am allergic to gluten and it was so nice to be able to eat some place with my family without any worry of getting sick. I got to eat off my families plates and try a little bit of everything. We all enjoyed it even my family who doesn’t have to eat GF. Would for sure come back when we are in town!
