We stopped by Salt & Lime in San Diego for brunch and honestly had such a great experience. The atmosphere is beautiful modern, bright, and relaxed, with a fun vibe that makes you want to stay and order another round. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and attentive, and the staff checked on us throughout the meal without ever making us feel rushed.
We started with the Cucumber & Jalapeño Margarita, which was super refreshing with just the right amount of spice. One of my favorite dishes was the Mango Ginger Fusion Ceviche. It tasted incredibly fresh, and the sweetness from the mango paired perfectly with the citrus and ginger. It was light, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
The Bone Marrow Quesadilla was definitely the standout of the meal. Rich, cheesy, and packed with flavor, it had a perfect balance of crispy tortilla and savory bone marrow that made every bite memorable. We finished with the Mexican French Toast, which was absolutely delicious. It was soft, perfectly sweet, and topped beautifully, making it the perfect brunch treat.
Between the creative menu, welcoming staff, and laid-back ambiance, Salt & Lime is easily one of those spots you leave already planning your next visit. If you’re looking for a great brunch or Mexican-inspired dining experience in San Diego, I highly recommend giving this place a try.
We stopped by Salt & Lime in Del Mar during happy hour before heading to the Del Mar Fair, and it was a great choice.
We started with the chips and guacamole. The chips were fresh and crispy, and the guacamole was good. It came with an additional sauce that wasn't our favorite, but overall the appetizer was solid—about a 6.5/10.
Happy hour margaritas were excellent, a great value, and earned an 8/10. Definitely worth ordering if you're there during happy hour.
We shared a plate of steak tacos, and they were excellent. The steak was flavorful, cooked well, and made for a great meal without being too heavy before walking around the fair. The tacos earned an 8/10.
The atmosphere was fun, relaxed, and perfect before an evening at the Del Mar Fair.
Overall, we'd definitely go back. Great happy hour deals, good food, excellent margaritas, and a lively atmosphere.

Want to give a big shoutout to our server, Jesus! He was kind, clear, quick, and helpful navigating the menu. Everything was delicious and I appreciate having a variety of vegetarian options. Highly recommend the vegetarian asparagus-sweet potato taco. The tortillas were fresh, too. Such a cute, vibe-y patio and good music too. Will be back!

This was a fantastic place. I am a vegetarian diner and I had multiple options to choose from. I highly recommend the fondido - it's served with warm tortillas. The asparagus tacos were a hit as were the potato taquitos. For cocktails, I highly recommend the mango chile margarita. I also had the la Rosa margarita, and even though it was good, the mango chile was better. The ambience was nice and the location was prime. They do offer some garage parking which was nice. We did an early dinner at 3:30 and parking was ample on the street as well.

This place was absolutely amazing with us. We were a last minute reservation for a soccer team that needed to find a place that could accommodate a large party. They did not disappoint. From the food to the service it was extremely fast and efficient. The food was great and the atmosphere was the cherry on top. I will be recommending them to others.
