My experiences here have been consistently exceptional. From the moment you step in, there’s a sincere hospitality that creates a sense of ease and belonging. The restaurant offers an array of exotic dishes that are both intriguing and delectable. The staff is highly respectful and collaborates effectively to ensure a seamless shift. The musical selection evokes the ambiance of a vacation by the picturesque beaches of Rosarito. For those fortunate enough to dine, live music adds to the delightful atmosphere and scenic beauty.

Not your typical “Mexican” restaurant. Puntamar serves absolutely incredible Mexico City style food with an emphasis on seafood. Everything on the menu is delicious, but the mahi ceviche and tiradito de hamachi are definitely standouts. As well, the octopus is the best I’ve ever had, cooked perfectly every time. Margaritas are excellent and authentic using only lime juice, agave, and tequila. The tostadas and salsas given upon arrival are also unique and perfectly spicy. Highly recommend!

We are so grateful for the wonderful experience! The cuisine is exceptional, as are the tequila shots! The owner is accomplishing remarkable feats with the food he provides. It is both fresh and delectable. I enjoyed the tostadas and tacos, while my wife savored the coconut shrimp. The tortillas and tostadas are freshly made by hand, and the salsas offer a perfectly spicy kick.
